After looking a purchasing a new home we did look at various properties and providers, after meeting with the staff at Barrett we quickly learned this was the choice for us. Any questions we had were answered promptly, any concerns were answered and staff more than helpful at the Stafford office (Martyn) very friendly and welcoming.

Really happy! There have only been very minor snags so far ( moved in last week) and the site manager has been amazing at getting things sorted in no time. The build quality and finish is great. The keyworker discount helped me massively with the purchase costs. We absolutely love our new home.

Do I have to keep writing a review to be acknowledged??! I've even emailed head of region but no reply!We moved in April last year. Our driveway is crumbling around the drains and finished to a poor standard. I reported this September 2022 and I keep getting told it will be done this week and it fails to happen. That's 6 months later and still no works done to our driveway. Our slabs/walkway into our garden around the side of our house also requires attention as it retains water and was reported at the same time but nothing has become of it .Our garden is very boggy and isn't useable, starting to sink/settle in places so very uneven - grass is starting to die in patches. We was told when we moved in that we shouldn't use our garden in the winter but very hard when you have a 3 year old that wants to play on her trampoline..Literally avoid Barratts, it's caused nothing but issues in my marriage from all the stress from the poor work completed. We are due to have someone to come around to sort the other snags out such as loose light fittings and toilet seats but I've had to cancel due to my daughter being poorly.*Edit 27/03/23 I don't understand your reply as nothing has been sorted and no one has contacted me. Even customer service has not replied to my email today regarding the works being completed. Absolute shambles.

I can't fault the customer service I have received leading up to and on the day of taking ownership of the property. As with most things you really know how good a company is when it comes to dealing with an issue but I have had none so far. I found the pre completion check and handover of keys pleasant and reassuring.

So even after reserving our property, my wife and I had a tonne of paper work to submit. Everyone we dealt with was ready to help and offered the best possible assistance to keep us moving down the lane. From Kelly down to the hands on Site Engineer- Guy. It was totally stress free. I will always choose Barratt.

Good experience as a first time buyer but had a few issues with agreeing a move in date which did have some impacts with other plans. Staff are/were very friendly and help for the majority of the purchase. Would be a little more helpful if there were opportunities for support outside the 9-5 weekdays i.e staying open till 8pm once/twice in the week.

I had two customer service men attend to a mould problem which has been ongoing my for years.I can’t say I fully rate barratt, I’ve had a few issues which I’ve had to fight to be sorted. However the two men Graham and Keith who attended my property were extremely helpful and super tidy too which I appreciated.
