Really poor standard of finish to the play park - no communication on when it will be finished- path not accessible for wheelchair users due to uneven surface- half the path tarred - half loose win-dust. One path leads to a fence with no gate, the other fence with a gate has no path . As unfinished not handed over the factor - so bins overflowing - litter everywhere & grass not been cut . Despite numerous attempts to contact customer team no response. Extremely poor - definitely not a 5 star builder . Happy to take your money for the house and run. I would not recommend Barret to anyone.

We have just moved into our new build property. There were a few snags that needed sorting. We got in touch with Jenna, she promptly got a date for us for when the work will be carried. Next day the work men came out to do the various jobs. Damo came in to do the paintwork and other bits and bats, he was excellent and really took care in his work. Jenna came around to check the work carried out and asked if we are satisfied. Overall both Jenna and Damo were brilliant and Barrats are lucky to have the 2 working for them.

We had issues with buyers in our old home pulling out the sale last minute and reselling twice. They were so patient and tried everything to help us move. Barratt Home's build quality is poor in comparison to other Companies. Barratt Home's do make the properties look appealing, however the cheapness and quality of some of their fittings are extremely disappointing. The taps and light fittings are flimsy and we strongly believe even the small everyday items and fitting's matter equally. This make's a significant difference. We have had problems with some of the windows and doors closing.

We bought our home last year and have had consistent issues with our garden since the winter. We raised an issue regarding flooding at the start of the year and Barratt acknowledged this straight away and said a landscaper would be booked in March/April time for us - come the end of April we had heard nothing. We chased this up and were told the work would happen in the beginning of May - work started at two neighbours gardens and completed and we were told we were next and they never came. We’ve been chasing this up since and keep getting told it’ll be next week but consistently are let down. We’ve had to cancel plans for patios as we can book in with external contractors. Currently told it’ll be this week but not holding my breath! After months of being let down I’m hoping for some compensation like maybe being able to enjoy a patio from them!

Kept fully updated of progress since last September when we reserved the property to complete last week. Since moving in we have had the site manager visit and the site sales advisor checking to see all was well, giving instructions if not sure and checking to see if we had any faults for them to rectify. TrustpilotDon’t buy a Barratt home
We have just moved in and it’s be a nightmare. We were messed around whilst waiting to move whilst I was pregnant and was meant to be in before baby arrived. We ended up moving when baby was 6 weeks old. I’ve had to have people in and out of the house due to issues and the house is not to a good standard. I paid for a professional snagger who has found 150+ items to sort. This included the fire doors not being NHBC compliant. I appreciate some of the 150 are not major but the finishes to the house are of a poor standard with having to have tiles replaced, things not fixed correctly or missing and items we have paid for damaged. We also had a workmen in to correct one of the doors and I could hear him trying to cut corners in completing the work to the standard required and he was told to do it properly. Moving into a new build you expect snags / few issues but the standards really are very low.

very poor build quality. we moved in 4 years ago and had 4 site managers and assistant managers come and gone. everytime we have to make a complaint to get anything done example ot took 2 years to fix a very stiff front door that a 9 year old couldnt open. now at our 4th year only half has been done what was suppose to be a warranty fix (plumbing issue with kitchen sink) has partially flooded our kitchen even after 3 fixes. when we called thr emergency after hours line with water bursting out this time, the person on the phone said sorry your warranty has expired we cant do anything about it ! shocking if only they got it right thr first time.

Absolute rubbish! I bought a new build at Sundial Place, and paid for an upgraded floor. The flooring is a disgrace. They left a gap between the floor and the skirting which looks defected. Complained multiple times by the developer still not actioning. This was mentioned in the snagging over 4 nonth ago. Developper is saying it's within their tolerance. I am shocked as I was exited to be moving to a new house, now I regret buying from Barratt. Stay away from this developer.Updates: Barratt team reached out and promised me a visit to explain to explain the flooring report and evaluate any course of action.
