Abbey and Team at Yarm branch…

Abbey and the team at the Yarm branch were fantastic from the very start of the process right through to completion. Considering that we lived 3hrs away from the property and we were selling the property on behalf of our father, the team at G&W provided a quality on hand service every step of the way. The staff were all great and very helpful. As an elderly lady I found the support they gave me both selling my house and buying my bungalow invaluable. The sales team kept me informed all the time as to the progression of the sale and on the actual moving day when things weren't moving quickly enough and I was in danger of running out of time to move the support I got was amazing . So a huge thank you and I'll highly recommend you.

Having waited for over a year to find our new home it finally happened. Simply the best!

I can’t speak highly enough of the lovely staff at Gowland White. From the get go I was kept well informed and nothing was too much trouble. We achieved a quick sale and the process was stress free as the girls did everything to make it so. They’re very much on the ball and were able to help me out when I needed to find a rental property for the gap between moving out and moving into our new home too. Absolutely horrible estate agents, let their landlords run into disrepair and leave a kitchen with electrics under the sink exposed with water leaking for 6 months. Only when the council got involved they immediately sent an eviction notice under lie that he's selling because of may renters reform so he can't be challenged over the section 21. No problem. They then try to lie and say we refused entry or cancelled appointments and continued this for months as a way to make the tenant look difficult. The tenant that has lived here for 3 years 1 year in unsafe conditions until the council got involved because my children became unwell. So C.A (look on the website for full name) the compulsive liar, who likes to talk to tenants like trash accusing them of not paying rent and threatening them with landlords only to find the rent was paid a week early as usual and no apology offered until I argued over it. She is an absolute nasty piece of work and has some kind of power trip going on. Provoked and provoked until I did call her everything under the sun because I am paying to live in disrepair and them saying we are cancelling appointments which we have not done! Do check all date on photos and to me line!!! Look at my SAFE kitchen.

We chose Gowland White for our house sale - the main reasons were the response to initial queries and the marketing materials. The service we received from the beginning was excellent - from the valuation and follow up, the viewings and offer and the process of the sale. Special mention should be made of Jodene Schofield who was extremely helpful in terms of advice and support. Due to issues further down the chain our house sale was tricky and frustrating at times, but this was in no way due to Gowland White. Jodene was proactive in ensuring progress was made with the sale and reassuring us that the matter was progressing. If Jodene was not available, the other staff were always helpful. Communication by telephone and email was very good. We would not hesitate to recommend Gowland White.
