GoogleMany thanks to the lettings team and especially to Leah for the brilliant service provided,she's been extremely helpful and really supportive regarding anything that I needed,responded to all emails and phone calls promptly,very professional and friendly, an absolute pleasure to deal with as tenant. Everything was on the highest level. Thank you and I recommend it to everyone.

GoogleAfter viewing one of their houses we had a call after for our opinion. We had decided that we had preferred another house with another estate agents. We then received another call a few days later from one their brokers. We explained that we had put in an offer into another house and said we had already received a call before from them. The man started ask questions on who we were banking with and prices and said that in future we should go with a broker and not a bank. He was extremely rude and even if we hadn’t decided who we were taking our mortgage with, it wouldn’t be with them! We then received another call and as I missed it I called them back and they said that they would find out who called and the reason behind it. However we didn’t have any further information on the issue.

GoogleWhen I rang up and was enquiring about certain costs of houses the women said they didn't deal with such low cost houses. Her attitude was surly and rude. So her attitude seemed to me under a certain price the houses and people are below par so they will treat you as such. I was a cash buyer and bought a house outright with Phipps and Pritchard who were lovely and friendly. Needless to say I WON'T be using them when it comes to selling my house which I intend to extend to increase value but obviously Shipways aren't interested in people like me!!

GoogleShipways manage a letting for my wife and she has been very impressed with the service she has received from everyone at the Kidderminster Office. The staff are always obliging and friendly, often going the extra mile where help is needed. We thoroughly recommend Shipways for both letting and sales.

GoogleHaving tried to sell my late Mother's property with a different agency without success for over a year, I transferred to Shipways and the excellent advice received from Tara and the team. Her knowledge of the market and shrewd advice about pricing resulted in a number of offers within a short timescale and a selling price that more than paid for the fees charged.

Terrible estate agents, they will rip you off on the selling fees. The offered to sell my house at £200,000 then two weeks later said the market had crashed and needed to drop the house by 10%. The housing market must have really gone mental in the two weeks..... anyways. Many..... Many weeks later, I eventually sell for £175,000, however they still charged my the commission based on their initial estimate. To be clear........ the communication was awful and the amount of effort they put in to selling the house was terrible. Don't use these guys, use anyone else!

GoogleI have used James Castle twice now to help me with mortgages and he has always been excellent. Good communication and always goes out of his way to find the best deal. Really nice guy too.

GoogleMy Wife and I have returned to Shipways, having been satisfied with their services in the past. All the staff are helpful, polite and professional. We particularly want to mention, Gemma Brown in Sales, who has been a huge support in the sale of our property. Gemma has, and continues to be helpful and approachable, which we very much appreciate, along with her knowledge and efficiency. We are confident Gemma and the sales team will see us through to a satisfactory completion of our property sale. We would not hesitate in recommending Shipways to others.

I sold through Shipway's, after 10 months.The majority of my e mails to Shipway's were completely ignored.Despite me giving Shipway's all the correct information about my flat, they initially advertised it as attracting 10 times the ground rent that it actually did.I informed Shipway's upon instruction, and several times thereafter, who my solicitors were. Astonishingly, in April 2023, they asked me who my solicitors were. Do they not keep records.In March 2023, I went away for a month. Several days after I did so, Shipway's conducted a viewing. I returned a month later to find my front door unlocked. When I e mailed to complain, I didn't even receive an acknowledgement, let alone an apology.Shipway's are Hale and Pace's typical R Sole and Sons Estate Agents:Estate agents may look morons, but you don't find many who are poor ones!

The letting agent just ignored my call and emails. Put me on hold for the last 10 days. Took all my necessary documents and then stopped contacting me. The tenant is living in a hotel now. They advertised that they need tenet immediately. I don't know what is going on but shipways Great Barr letting agent is.....everyone understand now. Just tell me yes or no. Don't hang me in there. You are wasting my time and wasting my money. Putting me in trouble. Can't you give a straight answer?

We have been served a section 8 notice by our landlord , which could make me and my family homeless , after calling shipways harborne today we have been told our our rent payments have not been made , although our bank statements show a payment made to shipways , after speaking to another accounts department we have been told that this could be a payment allocation error , shocking , furthermore the lettings managers attitude is disgraceful
