GoogleAs a new comer in UK, never experienced the rental process. Started from enquiries, arranged viewing the house and confirmation the rental, their response were fast and detail. I could get my confirmation before I arrived UK and dashed to my house and settled down with my family.

GoogleCalled in to try to sort out a problem my sister in law is experiencing with a property rented through Oakwood Property. The staff were very friendly but let down by demonstrating a reluctance to face up to what is actually needed to rectify the problem. The same fault keeps reoccurring but a cheap temporary fix is all that is carried out. In fairness this attitude is not unique to Oakwood but when rent is paid on time then it's totally unacceptable.
Hi Gordon, Thanks for sharing your thoughts and we appreciate the comments about the team. I have spoken with them to see what the issue is you are referring to and we seem to think its a slow flowing shower drain in a flat which is part of a larger complex. The team tell me they discussed a few things that could be tried with you and I have spoken with the building manager earlier in the week, to ask them to lift some of the inspection covers to check the wider system is free flowing but its important to us that we have done everything we can from our side, so please get in touch with me personally on 01909 470007 so we can discuss what you refer to "as what is actually needed to rectify the problem". Drains can be a tricky issue but we are more than willing to help. Internal blockages are 90% caused by occupant use such as a build up of product or hair which is the occupants responsibility I'm afraid but its important we talk, as you clearly feel we should be doing more on the issue and I'm happy to review this. GoogleOakwood Property have been nothing but amazing helping me move into my first home. They’ve made the whole process smooth sailing and when I’m calling/emailing every minute of the day panicking they’ve always gone that step further to put my mind at rest. A huge mention to Jennifer and Kerry for everything they have done, I’ve asked probably the most bizarre questions and they’ve made them feel completely normal. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking at moving home. Their complimentary welcoming pack when picking the keys up adds the most gorgeous touch and they’re always quick to answer any queries I have whether that’s by email or the phone. I feel like I’ve made friendships with them in the process of moving, will definitely see you all for a cuppa once we’ve finished moving everything in! Thanks a bunch again!!! Xxx
