Having never rented a property before I had lots of questions and worries, Kerry and Kaisu were so patient and explained every step. They were on hand for any queries I had and here I am now sat in my very comfortable rental feeling very calm. Thanks Oakwood.
EDIT...after renting for 3½ years now I would thoroughly recommend the Oakwood team. Each property inspection is done in a professional and friendly manner with all queries answered quickly. Scarlett was the most recent member to do the inspection. She listened, took everything on board and any issues were dealt with in a timely manner. Fabulous team!!!

GoogleIt is amazing how you can be treated just because, when you open your mouth, you don't sound British. One day it is ok to rent, and the following day you can't have a house - they just changed their mind. I had to call so many times for a house, just to have a mind blowing response - 'we can't work under stress' - poor them, we were stressing them because we needed an answer - are we going to have a house or be left on the street with a 2 year old? I don't think we can compare the level of stress. I am a GP that relocated here to work and this is what I get..how would you feel if you were treated like this during an appointment? Where is the clapping or respect for the NHS now? This is discusting!!

Of course I am very disappointed to hear how you feel and that you have decided to take your frustration out publicly, on a small business with a team that works hard every day to help people, when you have the ability to communicate directly with us.
I am surprised by your first statement though and it saddens us that you would make such a throw away statement, but our diverse Landlord and Tenant base will know that simply not to be true. I am aware of your interest in a property and can feel the frustration and stress you are currently experiencing in trying to secure a home for your family in what is a shrinking and competitive private rented sector. We also understood your need to get confirmation that you could have the house and we explained that we couldn't do that on three occasions due to the specific circumstances of the property which largely revolved around a Landlord being out of contact whilst they were away.
Its natural for people to be upset and even angry when they have not got the result they want, even more so with the pressures of work and a young family. We genuinely understand and this is why we openly informed you that we couldn't deliver what you wanted (commitment to the property) in the timeframe you needed it. we are genuinely sorry your interaction with us hasn't ended on a more positive note and wish you all the best with your property search.
