TrustpilotI'm very happy with my experience
I'm very happy with my experience, Quality Solicitors in Edgbaston were absolutely brilliant and always on hand to help with any queries and concerns. My Solicitors were Dominic and Darshna who were always very polite and professional and more importantly got the deal done given all the constraints! I would highly recommend Quality Solicitors.

TrustpilotVery Helpful and Great Communication!
Chris, Daniel and Nisha were so helpful with the conveyancing service they offered. They worked to a really tight deadline but and managed to get everything sorted for us in time. Their communication was great and were always on hand to assist with any issues. Would definitely recommend.

TrustpilotAvoid - Slow & Incompetent
Portsmouth - I had a very negative experience with Georgina Pickering. She took over from who I originally instructed and was slow, rude and overzealous with money laundering checks. We were first time buyers who were purchasing the house we were renting from our landlord; this should have been a straightforward process but unfortunately not with Georgina overseeing it. To start, she did not send over our searches and other documents until I contacted her, even though they had sat with the firm for a couple of weeks. She left emails unacknowledged and unanswered for a week, even for very simple queries. She would sometimes answer some queries but ignore others and then would bring up the issue at a later date, which would slow down the process further. When I eventually got her on the phone she was rude and at times insinuated we had not eared our money legitimately (I have a full time salary and pay slips to prove otherwise). She went through our finances with a fine tooth comb, questioning every single thing, including our 'round-ups' that were going to our savings account; insisting she needed to see bank cards to prove that is what the transactions (which were in the pennies) were. She also gave unclear instructions and even when challenged she could not understand this. She took all the fun out of the process and turned it in to an extremely stressful situation for us unnecessarily. We ended up dreading every interaction with her and I even had to formally complain to her regarding her incompetence. If she is given your case, I would ask to change to someone else.

TrustpilotAVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!
AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!! The conveyancer I had misfortune to work with was Nisha Keinth. Because of her incompetence, ignorance and irresponsibility I lost a property after 5 months of pain and only 2 days before the supposed contract exchange. She not only ignored my emails and phone calls, but did so with the email and phone calls of my Seller's Solicitor. The whole office is a bunch of useless people, as I have called the office many times, left countless voice mails, messages, emails and no-one ever got back to me. AVOID< AVID< AVOID!!!

TrustpilotSTAY AWAY - Not Serious about work
Quality Solicitor Davisons -Birmingham STAY AWAY from this firm. Do not use them. In May 2020 I completed the purchase of a house with this firm recommended via the estate, till date there is no progress on our land registry application. Several follow ups made but terrible service and terrible communication. Terrible work rate, I don't think they are serious about our application. From our Estate / site other properties sold in year 2022 are also got registered by other firms. But these people yet not made any progress on from May 2020, they do not do the work and even you chase them, as they have taken money in advance.

TrustpilotNearly lost our house
Their incompetence nearly resulted in us not completing on our house. They lacked knowledge, communication and professional advice which we expected due to paying them for it. They asked for significant documents on the day they needed it, expected us to leave work to transfer money or paperwork and failed to inform us of our Help to Buy, resulting in a loss of over £2,000. The whole process was incredibly stressful, with the people in the chain attempting to pull out due to lack of clarity and communication. Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other companies which can be trusted.

TrustpilotUnprofessional QS Davisons
In May 2021 I completed the purchase of a house with this firm recommended via the estate. Do not use them. Their phone lines voice boxes were full. The communication was awful. Their process is unprofessional and they will find any excuse not to take the blame. I was sent contracts to sign on paper that contained spelling mistakes and was printed on letterhead making text unreadable. I was assured upon a mispayment I would not be charged for it but when I received my refund a £20 charge was removed causing me time and hassel to chase them up. Strangely only after I complained did I find that the office had proper phone lines and boxes and they seemed more eager to take my call. Do not use.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your experience, however qs.com is not the correct company to leave a review with. We are a marketing and lead generation company for law firms and whilst some firms are branded QS, they are completely independent.

I suggest to anyone thinking of using Mark Woods[at the Lincoln Branch of Burton Law Quality Solicitors ], Only use him if you are Guilty !!! because this Solicitor does not represent you correctly if you are Innocent , In fact you would be better off representing your self , He does not like Work .He is Incompetent and he does not listen to anything you have to say ,in fact I had to point out certain things to him regarding my case . he also passes you on to junior staff ..So if your Guilty use him , but if not Stay Clear ..That goes for the Housing Trainee Solicitor as well , This company is just in it for the money ...terrible Solicitors , gives conflicting advise ,but they are good at telling lies to your face !!! Legal Aid solicitors , They say anything , make you feel confident that they have your best interests at heart , Not so ,once you sign the Legal Aid papers , its different ball game ..Tax payers money wasted .

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend davisons, lack of communication from Nisha who was apparently dealing with our sale, we never heard from her she never replied to any of our phone messages or emails, then it was passed over to somebody else I sent a message on the 13th of may and as of yet have not received a call back or reply to my email, very poor experience with this company, I think they could do with putting their staff on communication training because there isn't any communication and that's the problem.

From the outset this firm had a very lackadaisical regard for attention to detail. They frequently sent me emails and forgot to include the attachments. On 1 occasion I had to contact them twice to get the attachment sent. They repeatedly included a third party name on correspondence despite me informing them that I was making the purchase in my name only. They sent through a document with another person's name on it and when I called to complain they suggested that I score through the incorrect information. The final straw was an email from them 48 hours before completion to advise me that they'd made an error in calculating the sum I had to pay and that there was an additional £11841.40 to pay before I could complete! 4 hours later this sum was reduced by £500.I really cannot stress strongly enough how disappointed I was with the level of service I received from this company. They were recommended to me by the estate agents and to be honest had I read their reviews in advance I would have chosen someone else. I have sent a full review to my estate agents who have apologised and said they most probably won't recommend this company again.

TrustpilotWorst move in my whole life
If I could give 0 stars I would after the most stressful move in my life in 53years. Unreachable by phone. Unreachable by email. Passed between so many different legal colleagues. Totally unhelpful or interested. They were not my solicitors they were more interested in the estate agents and builders yet I pay their costs, I was their client. Worst mistake I made instructing this firm from the recommendation of the agents to purchase the property. I even pulled out of the purchase at one point because of them. The completion was terrible dropping a bombshell on me the afternoon before the completion what I had to do or else Id loose the purchase, how I got through it I don,t know and it actually ruined the excitement and happiness of the move and new house Id gone through hell for 1 5years to get too. They had no communication skills or interest in you as a human being at all. They were like heartless robots. Then the bill was astronomical without warning until the day before, I could have lost the house and my sale fall through if I hadnt have covered my back with money incase, and good job I did.Never going through this again with online Solicitors who treat you like a number not a client.Wished Id not used them or purchased the house! Now im selling up and going back HOME with a different firm!

TrustpilotDONT USE THIS COMPANY
Well what can I say about this company to anyone reading this, please avoid this company at all costs, absolutely shocking company.I was recommended to use this company via the estate agents connells, I thought because they were recommended they'd have a close working relationship, how wrong I was!Upon selling through connells, six weeks later we had still not received any paper work from these solicitors, not at one point did either solicitor or estate agent query if we had, I had to ring them.Paperwork then turned up with wrong names on so we had to wait another week for new paperwork which was returned then the solicitors claimed they hadn't received it, again another set of paperwork was sent, everything after this stage had to be sent special delivery for fear of them claiming they hadn't received it.Nothing got chased up between estate agents or solicitors unless I contacted them, it took over 8 months for completion and no doubt they'll blame pandemic! And now 5 months after completion I get an email stating I owe them 2.21! Complete and utter joke of company, couldn't organise a p*** up in brewery between lot of them!

TrustpilotAvoid this firm. Do not use them at all. Ever. For Anything.
If I could, I would give this appalling firm of 'solicitors' a zero star rating. From start to finish, the whole experience was frustrating, irritating, slow and stressful. We were recommended them by our mortgage advisor (who we trust having used his services for a number of years), but right from the very outset, it was clear they are not a 'quality' outfit at all.Emails are not answered, phone calls are not returned and it was never clear who was dealing with our purchase. Towards exchange and completion, they also had the audacity to blame delays on our seller's solicitor. In the end, I had to get a our mortgage advisor to put pressure on QSD to act and get the sale completed. And to cap it all, I received today a penalty notice from HMRC for the late filing of the Land Transaction Return (LTR). They should have filed it 14 days after completion (so by the 18th August). When I spoke to HMRC today, it turns out the LTR was filed on the 21st January - quite unbelievable! I shall await a response to an email requested they pay the penalty charge. I won't be holding my breath. The fact that 67% of review are 'Terrible' should ring alarm bells with the ombudsman. This firm should not be allowed to operate. In summary, avoid this firm at all costs, even if you need to spend a bit more with a reputable firm. They are the most unprofessional organisation I have ever had to deal with.

TrustpilotDo Not Use
Absolutely the worst experience using this firm. We have been frustrated to the point of tears - and sometimes actual tears - by them. Recommended by our developers when we reserved our house. We had to complain several times about how they are impossible to reach and ultimately would call various branches to try and find someone willing to take time to answer our questions. They left us unsupported and vulnerable throughout our buying process. They only bucked up their ideas after our complaints and then a warning we would escalate the matter as far as an ombudsman to get them to actually start providing a service. Only stuck with them because of the hassle and expense of starting again at the time. Also, after agreeing to not charge us for an item that it was not disclosed would be charged for at the start; we found that amount in our final invoice. We called to ask why they'd added the charge back on after saying they wouldn't, and all they emailed back with was an explanation of the charge. Just one example of how they have been so difficult to deal with. We've had to pay this charge to avoid trouble completing on our home.Again, this firm is impossible to reach. We felt they were not working on our behalf at all and are more there to make things smoother for the developer. At the start we would have to call and leave messages for days for them to come back to us. You're lucky to reach assistants, and will speak to someone different everytime if you do reach someone. No individual care here. We were only finally assigned to one person to actually pay attention to us after we had to spend about a week calling around their whole company for help - as well as complaining to our developer about how they've recommended a firm that's caused us so much grief. We have the phone and email logs to prove how difficult it is to reach this firm.We found out just a couple of weeks ago that this firm also spoke rudely about us to our developers - perhaps to try and cover up their lack of care. After all the trouble and anxiety they caused us; they then have the nerve to speak unprofessionally about us behind our backs to another company. We could find more attention and quality service from a bored drive-thru attendant. And yet here this firm is supposed to be offering us legal advice and services on the purchase of a home. There's quite a bit more at stake when purchasing a home than choosing your morning brew. This firm does not seem to understand the difference or care. We expected that at minimum they would return our calls without us having to beg and plead for assistance, but perhaps that was too ambitious.

TrustpilotPoor form, Davisons
We accepted a quote from Davisons which had been given to us by Purple Bricks on their behalf, and clearly with Davisons' authority. But when we received the paperwork from Davisons they included their own quote which was £250 + VAT (so £300 to us) more expensive due to the fact that the sale price of £650,000 was over the £500,000 threshold for the quoted fee (a fact which had been known at the outset). They refused to honour the original quote given on their behalf which was effectively a breach of contract and also of course deeply unprofessional. We went elsewhere ....

TrustpilotDon't deserve a rating.
Where do I start!!! Only just received our NHBC Buildmark Cover after moving into our newly built home in 2016. And as for the solicitor who was bad from start to end...no names mentioned could not be bothered to contact NHBC to confirm contracts. So if anything had happened to our property, should a vehicle crash into the house or subsidence, we would of not been covered due to cover not being activated. Quality Solicitors it is 101 room level. But the best of it, it only came about when I contacted NHBC on the off-chance to ask a query and they told me along with our house provider in a MS Teams call that our NHBC had not be activated. But when I called the worst solicitors firm and numerous emails, the complaints officer could not advise me, as he did not have the powers to investigate...idiot you are the complaints where you have the powers to investigate (SMH). So after going back and forth for 10 days...this was there response from HQ...'We could not ascertain the documents, due to a technical problem. So the technical problem lasted for 5 years?!? They honestly think the public are that gulible that we'd fall for the nonsense that comes out of there mouths. As a former member of HMCTS they'd always get things worng...no comment!!!

Whilst we are sorry that you felt that you needed to leave this review regarding our service, we cannot emphasise enough that the safety of our staff is paramount. Our representative who has over 25 years’ service could hear the dogs and did not feel comfortable entering the property.
The matter was referred to the Managing Partner and as a result of the coronavirus restrictions we were unable to send an alternative agent and understand that you wish to appoint another estate agency. We wish you well with your sale. Kind regards, QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright
