Terrible company to work with, rented me a property with black mould in the bathroom, refuse to send a specialist and tell me it is my responsibility. Also left us without a cover on the boiler for over a year, so we have serious health concerns. They don’t care, incompetence at its finest. Do not deal with them.

Justin at Hills Estate Agents went above and beyond with his help and support during purchasing our first home. Being first time buyers with little knowledge on whole process, everything was a bit alien to us on what we had to do. Justin answered any questions we had and always kept us up to date with what was going on during the process. We are both very glad that our first house purchase was through Hills, as other estate agents that we had dealt with while searching didn't seem all that human. Whereas the staff at Hills do, they were all very helpful and had great communication skills which made the whole process a lot less stressful. Would definitely recommend them!

Very Poor Company attitude to potential buyers. Called in to arrange a viewing and was refused. Employee stated they were taking no further viewings and I mentioned that i was interested in putting an offer in for the property. Her response to this was "It's going to sell anyway"...Wow ! To turn away a potential buyer like this is just rude and I asked if she could call the vendor to which she said no. As a vendor i would stay away from this estate agent as they turn away potential buyers.
Hi Mo I'm sorry to read your comments about your experience today. To explain, the property that you requested to view has been advertised for a few weeks with an open day only, that was to be held on Saturday 9th September. No viewings were conducted before this date and no further viewings will be done at the property as we have set a date for sealed bids which is Wednesday 13th September. This method of advertising and holding the open day was agreed with our vendor who is fully aware that no further viewings will be taking place before Wednesday. If an offer is not accepted by our vendor from the bids we receive then we will continue to advertise the property and will contact you to arrange a viewing. GoogleDiscriminate against people on universal credits. I am a single parent trying to rent another house to accommodate my growing children and the estate agents said "the lanlord will not accept universal credits". Very poor practice to allow discrimination.
Good Afternoon Ms O'seachnasaigh, I am sorry to hear that you feel you have been discriminated against. With this property, the landlord has strict requirements when it comes to finding tenants. In your case, regardless of the universal credits, with or without the top up, you didn't meet the affordability needs for the property. Added to which, the landlord can't accept those on universal credit as it violates their insurance agreement on the property. This puts themselves and their property in jeopardy, if anything were to go wrong under tenure. Where we can, we accommodate those on universal credits and/or benefits, but can only go off what our landlords instruct us to do. If you see any other of our properties and meet the affordability then we will be more than happy to get you in to have a look Kind Regards Hills Estate Agents

GoogleAvoid renting with hills, cleaned the property very well, a lot better than I received the property but this was still not good enough and they still had to take money back from the deposit, even though they couldn’t provide me with an invoice for the cleaning prior to my tenancy and I had shed loads of evidence that the property was a state when I received it!
