Awful! Do not bother with these guys if you are a landlord. Our property was left in a complete shambles after the badly selected tenants were finally evicted. I would have thought a property agent would at least look out for your asset, and ensure the tenancy agreement was complied with, but not Andrew Grant. It would also be good if they could be honest about what services are actually included for the over-priced fees.

Started well, went downhill

Started well with valuation and putting together brochure. Let down by many cancellations and one no show. Vetting of clients must be looked at. Feedback was poor. General contact and suggestions for improving/updating sales details was poor. Overall very disappointing.

We called into the Worcester branch a while ago. We were looking to move to Worcester and were considering selling our 5 bed home in Halesowen and possibly our rental property also. I approached a rather grumpy middle aged lady sat at her desk and requested a selection of property that they had available. "What price"? she asked. I explained that we could be looking for anything from a one bed apartment in the city up to a detached in the countryside- hence a selection of property. "Oh no" she replied rather curtly, "Ive got hundreds of properties in the drawer and I cant just give you a selection"? What? How bloody rude!!! I'm so sorry for anyone who is selling a property wih Andrew Grant if this lady is dealing with potential buyers. We left and went to the estate agents next door who were extremely helpful. I told them of my bad experience at Grants and the gentleman said that it wasn't the first time that someone had been unhappy with the same lady. On Monday we put an offer in on a property and it was accepted. A lovely cottage 3 miles out of Worcester at just under 400k. And the commission will not be going to Andrew Grant.

Dishonest and unethical

An excellent example of good old fashioned slimy estate agents, thankfully a dying breed now. Push their 'modern auction', which is actually just a way of tripling their fees. One particular agent lied to the vendor's solicitor, saying I had pulled out of a purchase when in fact I had refused to accept their change of sale type and demand of £5000 to proceed. I asked twice on the phone what this payment was, and he pretended not to know. Claimed that the massively increased agent's fee hadn't affected his advice to the vendor. Needless to say, their completion was held up as their next buyer took much longer than we did to exchange contracts, and I bet they didn't pay as much either! Only winners were Andrew Grant. Go elsewhere if you want an honest agent. I would expect the same empty response as you've put on my Google review; you can ask the vendor's solicitor why they told my solicitor they thought I'd pulled out, and then ask Duncan Saunders why he has failed to respond to my request for him to deny that he said this. I find it hard to see sincerity in your offer to discuss, as you have my contact details. You obviously don't intend to do anything about this, just weak public platitudes in response to a negative review.

Ways you can improve. 1) Stick to promoting properties you are selling on your Facebook page rather than pumpkins and medieval fayres. We should not have to ask you to promote our property. 2) Put adverts in your windows rather than display screens. No-one is going to stand around for 10 mins outside your window just to see what come up on the screen. They want to quickly scan what you have for sale.

Property unfit FOR move in, poor response from agent

No check in offered, had to fetch keys myself, incomplete set of keys provided, oven and shower filthy, no lighting in bathroom (transformer faulty, but told to bring my own lightbulbs!), shower leaking into kitchen, gas fire not working, boiler faulty. Little urgency from agent in fixing faults, and refusal to acknowledge any responsibility despite issues being noted on the inventory taken prior to the tenancy.
