We also had a second viewing with a really lovely lady one Saturday - we didn’t catch her name but she was also very helpful and professional. Overall great experience during what can be a really stressful time.

GoogleSales department were brilliant and fantastic help. However rentals were terrible, lied continually they entered the property without permission on a number of occasions. Didn’t get a signed inventory when I moved in, charges for a incorrect inventory on check out again carried out without 24 hours notice. Sent pictures of my personal belongings to the contract cleaners thinking we had moved, however I hadn’t !!! Then completely unhelpful when I tried to discuss the issues and concerns but told they were sorry but otherwise tough. Terrible service and unfortunately not trustworthy definitely not recommend for rentals, great sales team though fantastic to deal with.

What initially started out as a very simple purchase became a drawn out and frustrating move from offer to completion due to continual challenging circumstances arising from Solicitors and Conveyancers struggling to collaborate or grasp the basic fundamentals. Throughout this protracted process Heather of Breckon and Breckon continued to chase, follow up, advise and communicate to ensure progress. By far, the most dedicated and determined person I have seen in real estate and despite many setbacks, Heather always found a way to move us onto the next step and remain positive throughout. I could not recommend highly enough the team in Woodstock to look after your sale or purchase..

GoogleMy worst experience in four years as tenant. It started with a viewing of 5 minutes ( by chance ? ) in fact she forgot to mention the total absence of mobile phone and the slowest internet broadband when on Rightmove reported the fibre optic instead and I couldn't watch the tv neither. The place is lovely but she simply should have been fair and let me know how things were. I am an impeccable tenant in the way I look after the property and on my payments and unfortunately I left the property 10 days ago and they didnt release my deposit back yet...where this arrogance come from!? Is there anyone in this agency who cares about tenants and respectful people ? Dreadful !!
Thank you for your review Roberto, although naturally we were disappointed to receive such a poor rating. This property is in fact not managed by us and the issue with deposit lies with your landlady. We also note that our agent had waited for 15 mins to accompany your viewing as you were lost. We in no way doubt that you were an impeccable tenant and have chased the landlady on your behalf over the deposit return but as I’m sure you can appreciate we are unable to make payment without her authority or confirmation from an adjudication should the deposit be formally disputed.

We went to Breckon & Breckon about 2 years ago and managed to purchase a great property within our budget. The sales negotiators were friendly and welcoming, even at the time we had no idea we could actually buy a place. We viewed a couple of places and then decided to place an offer. We were given quick updates and responses, and each stage of the purchasing process was explained clearly. When we needed some more time, Breckon & Breckon was understanding and helped us negotiate a slightly longer period with the seller before exchange, which made the purchase possible. As a first time buyer, we were concerned while dealing with other local agents in Kidlington and our experience was not that great with others. As a first time buyer I wasn't sure what I should really be doing when purchasing a property but Breckon & Breckon made the whole experience much easier than I imagined from start to finish. I had looked at a number of properties with other estate agents and felt quite harassed by the experience which isn't what I wanted for such a monumentous (in my opinion) event. As soon as I showed an interest in my current flat Breckon & Breckon were helpful, polite and didn't bully me in to making rash decisions or make me feel uncomfortable. The agents I saw were always really helpful, even when we had to move exchange and completion dates around a lot due to the tenant in the property. When I come to sell my flat Breckon & Breckon will certainly be my first port of call to do so.

GoogleI was dreading putting our house on the market. I kept putting it off because I couldn't bare the thought of dealing with viewings and estate agents! Breckon however, made the process easy. They were respectful to our home, their photography/videography team were amazing and kept us informed the whole way along. They called me from the car following each viewing to give me an immediate 'thoughts on how the viewing went' feedback and when we did have an offer guided us through our options. I would thoroughly recommend.

GoogleDisorganized and rude. The letting manager was unpleasant to work with - 15 minutes late to the first viewing without an apology. She also doesn't seem to have grasped that there are online tools to help potential tenants - little things like email confirmations with links to the location. Instead she did everything verbally over the phone - which required lengthy phone tag and coordination. Avoid.
