I have used Seymour’s for nearly a decade now first to let a property and then to sell it. I have had good service from them all through. I don’t think anything is perfect so giving five stars is not me but I would give 4.75 if I could do in this case I rounded it up. Lettings were always good in terms of keeping the property rented and dealing with issues as they arose. We never missed a months rent and had good tenants. Thank you Lettings. When we came to sell the property, Seymour’s priced the property a bit high to start with and so we brought it down after the first week which was a bit hard. If you’re selling then look to see what similar properties have been recently sold for in your area, that would give you a good indication of value. Could we have got more if we had done the property up a bit? A question which we were never able to answer satisfactorily. The process of selling once you have accepted an offer seems quite drawn out and painful but I would have to commend Clarissa Crowther on ther management of this, she was continuously on the ball keeping things moving, thank you! This I think is the most important person in the selling process an I am thankful we had someone good like Clarissa. I would therefore recommend Seymour’s.

All through our buying process, Seymours have been quite professional and efficient in their services. During the process whenever there was any delay in queries between solicitors, Clarissa Crowther (our relationship manager at Seymours) was always proactive in engaging where required to iron out any such issues and got the responses where required - thus keeping the communication going between solicitors. While I sent numerous email queries to Clarissa throughout the process seeking various clarifications, she was always quite efficient in coming back with quick responses and ever so patient with all our questions. We had to make multiple visits to the property while the seller still lived there, and Clarissa was always obliging in making sure our needs were met whilst ensuring the seller was happy too. From offer to completion, Clarissa was a key figure in ensuring all went to plan and we are grateful to her for her wonderful service and also that of Zo Khan (Associate Partner), who was quite helpful and cordial when I visited the branch on a couple of occasions, and he kept in touch with us on key milestones during the process. A quick note of mention to the viewing team as well who were quite courteous and helpful during our viewing visits. A very professional outfit - would definitely recommend Seymours for a seamless and professional experience. Thank you Seymours!

I’ve been a tenant from this state agency for almost two years now and to be honest, and it wasn’t a good experience in the first year. Every time I need to talk to the property manager wasn’t a pleasant task at all. At the beginning of this year, I got an email re the routine property inspection, from my new property manager Mrs Sam Burrows, and she was brilliant dealing with this as per my availability to be in the property for this. Early this month I had an issue with a kitchen appliance, and she has been so good one more time. I have to register how good has been my experience as Seymour’s Customer now, thanks so much Mrs Sam Burrows

We sold our old property and purchased our new property both through Seymours. I found them to be extremely professional and helpful through out the whole process, on both sides of the transaction. The help and advice we received from both Zo and Diana was brilliant. They managed to help push through the sales on a large chain and get us in our new home before Xmas, when it all looked like it would fall apart on a number of occasions. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

The staff at Seymours were very patient, always on time, quick to respond and highly professional. I relocated with Seymours a couple of weeks ago and have to say all their assistance leading up to this point has been over and above. The whole team especially Thomas Cheape and Ella Billingham have both been totally professional and amazing and helped enormously. Broke contract, no response to contact, very poor. As tenants, we agreed a deal including the carpets to be removed in the bathroom and replaced with lino. We were promised a parking space and a garage. Both of these things were false. The carpet was not changed (despite this being in the contract). There is no parking space (despite being sold on this aspect). Calling Seymour's resulted in nothing. We were told they couldn't help us and that we would have to try and find the parking ourselves. One week later and still nothing. We were also told the garage was a different one. We finally found the garage and it was filled with clutter. The carpet in the bathrooms was never replaced. We have had no response to any emails. Incredibly poor, breaking contracts and acting very unprofessional. All great until the deal was agreed then their true colours are shown. Forced to consider other options now

I recently sold a flat I had been struggling to sell for over a year with other estate agents like Purple Bricks. The Woking branch of Seymours worked tirelessly to generate interest in the flat, during a period where there was quite a sharp downward turn in the housing market. They managed to find a seller twice (as the first one pulled out), and worked with me through some very difficult and drawn-out situations involving my solicitors, the flat's managing company, and the flat's land owner, all of whom were proving extremely difficult to work with. The sales process was further complicated by myself having recently moved to the US. Overall, I owe the team at the Woking branch my deepest gratitude in handling all of the difficult situations that came up and allowing me to close off a very stressful part of my life. Given how long the process ended up taking, I can't thank everyone by name, but will call out: - Amy Sandys, for being a voice of reason through the sales process and helping push along tasks that were taking forever. - Zo Khan, for on a number of different occasions, using his expert industry experience to steer the sales process and ultimately close the sale when it was looking like it was going to take much longer. - Thomas Hill/Kieran Clifford, for bringing so much energy and passion to the initial marketing of the flat, which was critical to getting the sellers in the first place.
