My partner and I found our home on Rightmove and we got in contact with Jenna at Scottfraser almost straight away. Right from the start the process was incredibly easy and stress-free, and thanks to her and Samantha we were able to set up our new home in a matter of weeks. When we decided to put our house on the market, we invited three estate agents to carry out valuations but there wasn't any competiton or decision to be made. I was very nervous about selling our home as we've lived there nine years and raised our two children threre. We weren't completely sure we would go ahead with selling up as we knew that buying and selling houses was notoriously stressful but we knew, with a growing family, that we needed a larger house. David from Scott Fraser Estate Agents in Witney was very professional, polite and made the whole process very easy. He took away the stress of it all and was always on hand to promptly answer any questions or concerns by phone, email or in person. From start to finish, David gave an outstanding service. We sold our home in January, in just five days with three offers on the table. However, because we had decided to purchase a new build which wouldn't be ready until between June and August, David worked closely with our buyers to ensure they knew the situation and would be happy to wait. He ensured they too were kept updated every step of the way. David made this part of our move the simplest of all and if we ever had to move again, I wouldn't look for anyone else to market our property for us. Thank you. Georgina and Paul.

Myself and my partner are renting for the first time on our own and Scott Fraser have been extremely helpful in making this process as easy as possible for us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jenni and Samantha at Witney Office. I had a few hiccups acquiring an apartment in Witney as not having lived here for some years. From the moment Samantha showed me round this beautiful flat (where I live now) Samantha was so helpful, patient, businesslike and so polite. I had to come back with my son to view,. Yet again she was so courteous, as was Jenni when I came with my friend. Both girls were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for both of them during my clearing period,. I highly recommend both girls so professional. Then when I moved into this beautiful flat I had a few teething problems yet again both Jenni and Samantha never let me down,. Samantha even came around to show me how to operate the heating correctly as I couldn't fathom it at all. Jenni I must have annoyed her so much ringing her, but she never faultered. The amount of patience both these girls showed me was a credit to them and their Company. I highly recommend that both these girls are rewarded for having and promoting Scott Fraser. Jenna & Sam at Scott Fraser's, Witney were absolutely fantastic! We had the difficult task of securing a rental from overseas but Jenna and Sam made the process so smooth and simple. They were so friendly and professional and their communication with us was excellent resulting in the whole process taking very little time from beginning to end. They couldn't have been any more helpful, even going above and beyond to arrange a Skype viewing of the property for us whilst we were in Cyprus! Really poor experience at the end of renting through Scottfraser. They strung out the refund of the deposit for over 5 weeks, despite it being held with the DPS scheme, which quotes 2 days to refund. There’s a loophole in the DPS system that means they can claim that they’ve not heard back from the landlord and so can’t action any refund until they have. If you rent from a busy landlord this can add weeks to the process. We were also owed overpaid rent (from our last half month) and again they said it was up to the landlord to refund them before they could refund me. This took nearly 7 weeks to pay back. Apparently it’s not their responsibility to repay me that money even though I’d paid it directly to them originally. I was told to take legal action against the landlord rather than them. Finally, even when a landlord does authorise a refund, they quote up to 5 full working days to repay you via BACS, and both refunds funnily enough took the full 5 days. In this day and age this can only be down to a policy to sit on as much tenants money as long as possible. Communication was poor throughout all of this process, including being sent a check-out report for a completely different flat and never receiving the correct one. Maybe they’d lost it… To conclude, if you rent through Scottfraser, be prepared for them to hold on to potentially thousands of pounds of your money for many weeks after you’ve moved out.
