Living abroad necessitates us having a fully managed service for our house with Scott Fraser, we are therefore reliant on the relationship we have with our property manager to keep us updated and to act on our behalf as & when the need arises. For the past year or so, we have had the good fortune to have Simon Butt as our property manager. During this time Simon has displayed professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very pro-active attributes. We had the misfortune to have issues with a tenant who instigated an early termination that eventually had to go through arbitration. Simon provided us with excellent support during the whole process & provided a wealth of documented evidence to the arbitrators to backup our case, resulting in the positive outcome of our claim. I have exchanged e-mail messages & spoken on the telephone with Simon numerous times since he became our property manager. He is equally adept at written & verbal communication. His whole persona displays a high level of empathy & genuine willingness to help, he has a way of making any issue seem manageable and truly has gone that "extra mile" to ensure that we have been totally happy with & have fully understood the information he has provided. Having Simon as our property manager has given us a trusted, professional & friendly point of contact for all rental matters regarding our property & tenants. In the 14 years that we have been landlords, we have dealt with numerous estate agents & property managers, I have never before felt as comfortable with or experienced the level of support & commitment that we receive from Simon. Thank you Simon for everything you have done & continue to do.

We sold our property with Scott Fraser in April 2022. The purchase price was accepted and we were delighted. However once the sale occurred we did not hear from Scott Fraser for over a month, when we contacted them. There was an issue with the buyer’s mortgage offer, but we had not been informed. After this Tom Mizen took over our sale and purchase of our new property. It was quite complicated and seemed endless at the time. Yet over the 6 months that followed (it took so long!) Tom contacted us regularly to update us on proceedings. I was very grateful for this quality of service, which really helped through this difficult process. He was always professional and considerate of the stressful situation we were all in. We would definitely use Scott Fraser again and would fully recommend their customer care.

I can't recommend Ellie at Scottfraser enough. Despite the poor market conditions at the time she still managed to push our sale through. She was excellent during the negotiation stage and used her expertise to get the right price. The best part of the whole process for us was her communication. She ensured that we were always up to date whenever a viewing had happened no matter the time of day. She would always call afterwards and update us with feedback. I recently sold my house through Scott Fraser. Getting the house on to the market happened quickly and I was happy with the professional photos, which were of better quality than those produced by other estate agents in Witney. An updated EPC was also arranged and paid for which other estate agents do not seem to include or arrange leaving it up to the client instead. Ellie was really helpful in negotiating a good offer for me, which was higher than the initial valuation. There were some issues with other parties in the chain which caused some stress when nearing exchange of contracts, but we managed to complete in the end.

Professional & proactive team. My partner and I were in the renting market and had stumbled across an offer from the shop front. From walking through the front doors, we had been greeted warmly by Chloe, of whom throughout the process looked after us from start to close, a big plus with having a single point of contact. Process was seamless and she had went above and beyond with seeking reassigning alternative colleagues to avoid time delay from various parties being on annual leave during the Holiday period. Sold through Scott Fraser. Initial valuation and instruction process bode well but thereafter everything fell apart. There was high turnover of agents supposedly working on our behalf which left constant communication breakdowns throughout the process. It felt like they were working for the buyers not us. Scottfraser exacerbated an unpleasant sale experience and cannot recommend, would definitely not use again !!
