GoogleI had an excellent experience with Georgie during my property search. She was professional, punctual, very approachable and accommodating. Her viewing was thorough and informative, and she went the extra mile by proving me details about parking options not included with the property. Georgie was easy to contact and always followed up promptly. Molly, who also conducted a viewing on Georgie’s behalf was just as professional, punctual and accommodating. She was very quick to follow up on any questions I had. I was in a rush to find something as soon as possible and they were both very accommodating and efficient, providing prompt details and making the process smooth and easy. Very grateful!

GoogleAs a student looking at a gap in between my studies, Martin & Co in Winchester were hugely helpful with providing housing opportunities for me by myself. I had previously struggled with finding accommodation independently, with budgets etc, but Piers was able to resolve this for me and help me settle on a rental that I could afford. I would highly recommend, especially Piers with the help I was offered.

The five star reviews that I have seen refer to helpful service at the beginning of a tenancy. Just wait until the end of the tenancy and then you will have a very different opinion. They sanction landlords taking money from deposits to pay for cleaning a property that the landlord should be paying for in preparation for new tenants. It doesn’t matter what the state of the property is. The deposit is actually revenue for the landlord. £50 to repaint a door because of a couple of blue tack marks! Outrageous and unethical. I will not even go into the problems we had during the tenancy with one resident causing huge issues in the house with noise, harassment and smoking drugs in the room. Find another estate agent.
Dear Mrs Graver, Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us in relation to your daughter's tenancy. I am sorry that you are dissatisfied with that experience. As you are aware, any end of tenancy costs are determined based on review of the independent inventory and checkout reports from start and end of tenancy by the landlord. This being the fairest way to deal with such things, via independent inspection. In the case of this tenancy, as you will have seen there was a lot of cleaning and there were scuffs, marks, paintwork etc, to clean / make good, as noted in the checkout; "Heavy debris throughout Spot marks throughout Right wall - discolouration around frame and upper level, light streak marks above chest of drawers, light marks throughout Facing wall - large crack below window, shading to top right corner, tape residue above window Left wall - large white mark above desk, scuff mark to the right of frame Rear wall - light marks around light switch Heavy marks to sealant, along frames and around handle Condensation to top right window Black streak marks to frame Ring marks and marks to sill" Given all of this, the landlords felt a proportionate cleaning and making good cost was appropriate.
