Piers was so helpful with helping us find our student house for next year. Within an hour he replied to our first enquiry and booked in viewings straight away. With us being first time renters, he made the process so easy and when we were unsure about things he answered our queries very quickly and fully. We are so thankful that he got us our house so quickly. What we thought would be a daunting experience turned out to be very easy and straight forward one. Martin & Co helped me quickly and easily put a deposit down on the flat that I wanted. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgable and friendly. Karl was extremely helpful with explaining information and securing the flat for me, he responded quickly to messages and queries. I appreciated that he sent me a video tour of the exact flat I’d be staying in, so that I was sure I definitely wanted to live there and comfortable with placing a deposit. "I rented a house from Martin and Co agency. I lived in their property for 10 months, but at the end, they deducted an excessive amount from my deposit. I was surprised to be held responsible for several pre-existing damages. To make matters worse, their email handling team was extremely rude and unprofessional. They assumed we were responsible for pre-existing issues, which was unfair. However, I must say that some of their staff were excellent, particularly Pier, who handled the initial deal. Nevertheless, when it came to addressing issues and deposit returns, they took an inordinate amount of time. In my opinion, they need to improve their services and communication." Its a reply This is completely wrong. Firstly, I didn't have any relative as a roommate; it was a shared house where one room was in my wife's name and the other in my name. I only take responsibility for my own actions. It's incorrect to say that your individual report was made. The fact is that someone else went there and checked everything, adding old damages and dirt to inflate the cost. If they had been told not to include the old damages and just prepare a cleaning report, it wouldn't have amounted to £550. When I took the house, no one had deep cleaned it for us. In front of your employee, I vacuumed and arranged my belongings. I was actually in a difficult situation at that time as I had to move here urgently due to an emergency, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. However, your agency charged us £550 by putting everything on us, saying we should maintain the entire house again.

Piers has been excellent. Out of all the estate agents I've had communication with, Piers has been the most friendly, approachable and helpful. After losing our house a month before we were supposed to move, he very quickly helped us to find a new place at a price that suited us (convinced he's a miracle worker). He was happy to answer any questions and provide as much info as he could and we couldn't have asked for a better person to help us through this process. My experience with Martin & Co throughout the last year has been so great. I'm Thankful to have had Georgie's amazing customer service and help finding the room that fits my preference again. She's very friendly and responsive to all my questions! Honestly If I have to move again next year I would definitely ask for her help. Also I'd like to add that Alex's customer service is also brilliant! I had a slight issue with my reference check and was nearly not able to move forward with it but she pushed through to speak to the landlord regarding my circumstances which has sorted that out. Both of these wonderful people are so sympathetic and I can definitely vouch that they both go above and beyond. Truly is a blessing. Thank you again!

I visited Martin & Co's office in Winchester on 26/06/24 as I urgently needed a place to rent. Steve was very patient and spent a considerable amount of time scrolling through their listings to find me a suitable room.
