GoogleWe received an amazing service from Breakey & Co, from the start they were very efficient and knowledgeable and as soon as Millie introduced herself as our account manager we new we were in good hands. Millie contacted us by email and phone with regular updates of our house sale and did everything she could to push things through in the last few days when things were being held up. We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

GoogleI highly recommend Breakey & Co. I Accepted an offer within 3 weeks on the sale of my property. I left the negotiating to the breakey team and ended with a offer more than I had intially aimed for. They also chased the solicitors whilst the sale was going through and were always approachable with any queries. Special thanks to Alison but also to Emma, Carrie and the rest of the team.

GoogleThey do not look out for their tenants (though that probably makes them amazing for landlords). Inspections are every 3 months and take multiple days to arrange as they never tell you their availability so there is a lot of tedious back and forth. They also don’t provide you with time slots forcing you to take time off of work if you can’t work from home - they will also cancel these at very short notice making your annual leave that day meaningless. They will walk around every single room looking at and logging everything so you will never ever feel at home and they will do inspections like this whether you’ve lived there for 5 minutes or 5 years. They will penalise you if they don’t like something in the inspection (like having long grass) in an extremely wet summer and complain to your landlord, even if you’ve told them prior to the inspection that you had surgery and ended up readmitted to hospital almost dying of sepsis afterwards. They will then tell you they forgot you told them this because they have “so many tenants” (fake apologies). They tell you that they have 24/7 support but this isn’t true. It takes them multiple days to fix things like broken back doors you cannot lock.. but it’s only your belongings that will get stolen and potentially your child in danger so who cares right? It also took many weeks and prompting for us to get a new dishwasher. On checkout, every issue they find costs you £50 each suspiciously.

We strive to accommodate tenants' schedules by offering morning or afternoon appointments, and if these times are not convenient, we can arrange access using a management key with your permission to minimise any disruption to your work or personal commitments. Regarding the condition of the garden, it is important to maintain the grass regularly to ensure the property remains tidy and manageable. This is part of the routine maintenance expected of any tenant with a garden. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we sincerely apologise if our approach seemed insensitive given your medical condition. Communication is key, and we aim to be more attentive in the future to avoid any such misunderstandings. As for the repair issues you mentioned, the back door was inspected and addressed the day following your report. We prioritise urgent repairs, especially those that impact security. The replacement of the dishwasher, while important, was subject to the landlord's discretion and was resolved as soon as he was able to arrange it. Finally, concerning the costs associated with issues found during the checkout process, we do not impose a flat fee of £50 for each issue. Any charges are assessed based on the specific condition and required repairs of the property, in accordance with industry standards. GoogleAbsoloutely phenomonal and professional service provided from sales to rental by the Wigan Branch Sales and Letting teams. I just cannot recommend the service enough. Lucy from rental management team was very proactive, provided tailored 1:1 high quality service, addressed my needs promptly. My house was on rent in no time after completion of sale purchase. Lucy has kept me very well informed throughout the letting process and advised on best options. GoogleThe most disgusting rental company and very rude staff. They are all liars. They encourage landlords to do fraud and they are not providing contracts or actual photos of how the house looks before. Edit after Breakey responded. I'm not anonymous, google knows my identity and I can provide evidence to them if they want to verify me. Private profile? I'm a public person to keep it public? I do not want you to harass me like you did for 4 years.
