If you are interested to buy or rent a property you approach Foxtons, they say your application is successful, takes all fees and recommends solicitors. point 1 never believe they take 2k from 100 people, 100 people suffer by being deceived, especially gauge the seller's greed, then you can estimate the agency's greedy or not, trust is valuable don't believe liars

GoogleI recently just went with Marcin to view some properties , and he was a breath of fresh air compared to other estate agents He understood the exact requirements of my search and only showed me properties that fit that criteria He was also very helpful in answering any questions I had and keeping my expectations realistic I would highly recommend him to others looking to rent or buy properties

Last minute viewing cancellations. Constantly the property happens to be under offer and you will be the last to know. They will try to push you on other properties by wasting your time.

A reply from Foxtons:"I am sorry that you are not receiving the experience you are expecting, however, there are limitations to what we can do as a managing agent. When tenants are not acting in accordance with their tenancy agreement we can bring this to their attention and ask that they remedy any breaches, but we do not have the power to enforce this."£10,000 to not be able to DO anything? What is the point of you at all? The tenants have been smoking (a breach of the tenancy agreement in a listed non-smoking building) drugs (a breach of the law) in the property and it has been complained about for MONTHS and you have DONE NOTHING. Parties until the early of the morning most nights seriously disturbing the other tenants in the building and you have DONE NOTHING. Health and safety refuse issues for MONTHS and you have DONE NOTHING. The main door of the building and the door to my property left open in clear breach of security for all of the other tenants and you have DONE NOTHING. You are PAID to manage the tenants and yet, by your own admission above, YOU CAN DO NOTHING.It's a legal contract. They are breaching it every month and yet you say you can do nothing? What is the point of you? Please answer that question. What do you actually DO to justify £10,000? "Have a word"? Well done. You do nothing. You are useless. You take money and do nothing for it and put the onus back on the landlord. You are PAID so that the landlord doesn't have to deal with these things, that's the ENTIRE point. I've spent over TEN HOURS this week dealing with complaints from other tenants, other landlords and surrounding businesses because YOU are just so utterly useless and have ignored their emails and requests for action.I've learned my lesson after being lied to by your company before and then being lied to when I complained about it. Shame on me for falling for it again with promises of better income, better tenants and an easier life but it's been far and away the worst ever lettings experience of my life. NEVER AGAIN.Don't bother replying, it'll just be more empty, meaningless rubbish that resolves nothing. I've approached a solicitor to start the application for eviction. I just want them and more importantly you out of my life for good.

GoogleI had a great experience with foxtons, specifically Kiya. She showed me around multiple flats, kept in contact and sent me other ones according to my preference and was willing to negotiate for me.

TrustpilotFoxtons held onto deposit past legal requirement for no reason
My landlord already said everything was fine with the flat the day I moved out but Foxtons held on to my deposit and still has not returned it after 17 days (and counting). They have already breached the 10-day deadline per legal requirements. chased them multiple times but to no avail. Absolutely awful and unacceptable service- everyone should avoid doing business with Foxtons.

It’s so interesting to see reviews; they are mostly 5 stars or 1 star. I give the company less than 1 star as a person letting out my property. Communication is very poor and the consultants sent to the property to make an expertise report seemingly lack skills. Why didn’t I or my tenants get a 5 star service?

I think most of these reviews are from landlords, because for renters Foxtons are INTENSE. Most of their agents will call so, so much, and it often feels like they will try and shove slightly mediocre properties down your through just to get the commission after you sign? They ARE very professional otherwise, hence the three stars, but dealing with Foxton agents is mildly stressful.

Wow, I just had a surreal experience with Nikita Harper @ Foxton's Letting Support team! Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, fast and understanding of the client's needs. My previous experience prepared me for the exact opposite, so I was pleasantly surprise. Foxtons, look after Nikita and make sure she is your new head of Talent Development soon. You need more like her -- well done!
