GoogleLooking for a 3 bed in my area at the moment was a real struggle! As soon as I found a potential new rental property on right move I was on the phone straight away ! From the moment I phoned Martin and co for a viewing to the moment I picked up my keys they were really helpful and professional and nothing was to much trouble . Would definitely recommend and go through this agent again in the future .

GoogleUnfortunately the agency are very much in favour of the landlords over the tenants. After a 3yr tenancy, I was asked to provide them with money on top of the deposit despite me offering a settlement based on official quotes. When I queried the amount, they demanded more so I had to raise a case with the DPS who awarded me with the money I was expecting. Landlord refused to meet me to discuss, despite several requests. Advice would be to ensure you stand your ground as M&C will always side with landlord. Take lots of pics and ensure any repair/decorating costs quoted check out with what you would expect. Legally the agency should provide you with address of landlord within 21days of requesting, yet M&C refused to provide, illegally, stating the landlord doesn't wish to provide? Having rented on and off for 20yrs and bought and sold properties with numerous agencies in the area, Martin and Co stand out as the worst I have ever had to deal with.

GoogleMartin&Co have the most welcoming staff, we have had many calls with many lettings companies and Martin&Co are by far the most lovely and accommodating company. We’re young and new renters and when on call with other letting companies were greeted with dismissive attitudes mainly to do with our age and just plain rudeness. Whereas Martin&Co recognised we are mature and treated us like the adults we are. The whole process was very straightforward and very relaxed. We would all recommend using Martin&Co for lettings and highly sing their praises for all their help!

GoogleI have experienced interactions with many letting agencies and Martin & Co is one of the better experiences I have had, in regards to setting up a tenancy. They were quick to respond to calls and emails and always with a polite manner. My only criticism is the choice of their referencing provider. Due to technical issues which the company admitted to having, we spent many hours and days on referencing which should not have been so difficult. Otherwise the process was smooth. (Thanks to the team for their patience and I hope the chocolate bars are enjoyed! )

GoogleI was a little worried at first about selling my property as it was my first time. Wondering what I needed to do and how I needed to do it etc. The team at Martin & Co swiftly changed that feeling. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and made selling super easy. Any little questions I had were answered straight away. The move manager at Martin & Co is a credit to the team. Keeping all parties happy, firing emails to one another keeping up communication between sellers and buyers. Overall it was a great and easy experience. Team are fantastic. I will certainly be using Martin & Co again for my next venture.
