After viewing a few properties with other agents, our first meeting with Joanne (Jo) at CJ Hole stood out, it was a pleasure. Jo is warm, genuine and easy to talk to. It was clear Jo also had a good relationship with the vendors, and whilst selling is a big part of Jo's role, she was not pushy. As first time buyers we were dreading the house buying process (after hearing horror stories from friends) and were clueless about it all. After placing an offer, and despite it being very late in the day, Jo took the time to sit down with us, talk us through the process and answered all our questions. After an acceptance on our offer, Kim, the Sales Progressor at CJ Hole, called to introduce herself. Kim has been a huge help and without her we feel things would not have run anywhere near as smoothly. Kim was dealing with a nervous chain at the top end. She kept us update constantly and advised us what we needed to be doing at each stage without piling pressure on. She answered any queries we had and always responded quickly. Kim came across as highly experienced, professional and extremely calm considering the pressure she faced trying to juggle everyone. We can't thank her enough and wouldn't want to do another buy without her!

I cannot recommend highly enough George Mawer and his team at the Westbury branch for the efficient and professional approach they had to selling my late fathers house. From start to finish I was kept up to date, either by email or verbally every step of the way. CJ Hole marketed my house in a very professional way and facilitated a quick sale despite the Covid-19 pandemic. They perhaps could have been a bit clearer when my buyer was negotiating on points raised in the survey but we got there in the end. There was an error when it came to paying their fee which was easily rectified. Overall they were extremely good and responsive and I would use them again.

I am a first time buyer who lost (I actually call it robbed) of over a £1500 due the incompetence, unprofessionalism and bare face lies of this company (and the vendor) on a house that was no where near ready to sell. 6 months of lies and false information since we made our offer we ultimately ended up pulling out of the purchase and loosing a chunk of our deposit (which had taken us three years to save for) no apology or compassion instead met with coldness and ultimately kicked to the curb to start again. My house was on the market through C J Hole Westbury-on-Trym before and during the first national lockdown. The poor communication between members of the team was fairly evident from the start, with various staff contacting me to discuss the same matters. The poor organisation continued throughout the viewing process - though to be fair, they did manage to get me some viewings. I had to contact the office (with great difficulty on some occasions) when they forgot to mention that the viewings were over and that we could return home. Sometimes the viewing had not even gone ahead! In the end, this poor organisation led to unannounced entry to my property by a member of C J Hole staff with two potential buyers. C J Hole had given me no notification of this visit whatsoever, and myself and my partner were symptomatic and following COVID 19 quarantine measures at the time. It's safe to say I collected my keys as soon as I was able!
