Never again Paramount Properties

I had a bad experience with Paramount Properties after I moved out from the rent. They didn't want to give back the deposit to me after the landlord had agreed to release the full amount. Their reason was the dispute I had over bills not paid by my flatmate to me. They took my flatmate's side who wasn't willing to pay the bills for the last month of our tenancy. I didn't do anything wrong but they treated me if I was the one owing money. It took me one and a half month to get the deposit back. They shouldn't have been involved in the dispute at all, just transfered the deposit to me as I paid it. They weren't helpful with resolving the dispute at all. I advise to stay away from them.

I noticed immediately that Paramount was “different” to other agents when I started looking on right move - at first I found it a little strange but quickly realised that it was amazing to hear what a current or previous resident loved about a property and what they would change, and started hoping that Paramount was the agent when I saw a property I liked! Lionel Stoll helped me with a difficult purchase that took just under a year from start to finish. That changed the moment we met Dan from Paramount; from the beginning he impressed us by being out knowledgable about properties (their history, their neighbhours, the details of what happened and did not happen to them when tenanted or owned).
