I have been raving to my friends about the quality of service I received! The application and reference process was quick and made easy, and there was a lot of professionalism to it where you knew you were in good hands/it wasn't a shady practice. Although I've only been at my new flat a few days now, I was so impressed that they helped me sort out my utility bills and council tax, had 3rd party inventory specialist review the let, have a complaint service and to top it all of - had a bottle of wine waiting for me upon arrival! I encourage anyone looking to go through Paramount Properties! (and if anyone wants to know - I worked with Adam and Lucy!) UPDATE AUGUST 2020: First, I want to be clear that my onboarding process and rental situation was great while I lived at my flat. HOWEVER, I caution to anyone signing that may terminate early that I have had massive issues with Paramount. If you read the fine print within your Clauses, you'll find that there is an early termination fee built in if you want to move out for whatever reason, which is fair. Within law, you're entitled to get full disclosure of what fees are passed onto you when you move out. But when I got my invoice with a per diem fee for "remarketing" and "loss of commission" from moving out early, but it wasn't transparent to me how that fee was calculated and what it was based on. Then, the first replacement tenant fell through - understandably, it is Covid-19 timing - but when the next replacement tenant was found and moved in, they charged me the original amount, not a revised amount with lesser days. They also charged me without me approving any new costs, resulting in almost half the amount I was owed not paid out. It eventually worked itself out, thanks to Hannah. This has been a disappointing process and I feel like I've tried to be fair this whole time, even paying my full rent despite having moved out and given my keys back for months. I wouldn't say I wouldn't recommend them because I definitely think they are much better than others out there, but I would say for potential rentals to read the fine print.

In short, Paramount Properties is nothing but Fantastic. I can assure both a seller and a buyer that I have had nothing but high satisfaction from Paramount Properties. I am a student who was looking to rent a property with my friend for the upcoming new term to begin in September. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, I decided to leave the UK and return to my own country which made house hunting all the more difficult. Throughout my 2-3 months looking for a place to stay I have been met with lesser than helpful agents from companies I thought would be good based on their name and high customer count. However, not being in the country and only being able to be contacted via email made things very clear to me on how certain agencies were less than useful and were not prepared to sell houses thru the pandemic. 1)I first faced issues such as poor communication, not being able to speak to someone directly sure was frustrating especially when they don’t respond to your emails. 2)Even if I weren’t overseas, I would still not want to leave my house during this difficult time and would love it if they had provided a virtual option for those who wanted to view it online. 3)With such a difficult time upon us, money is definitely a sensitive topic but no one wants to be scammed With all these being said, I never expected to have the amazing service that I received from my agent Oliver. First and formost, I would like to commend paramount for having by far the most impressive viewing page of any house i have ever seen. From all the pictures they provided(which includes the floor plan) to the video tour showing you exactly what the house is like was just great for someone wanting to know everything about thw house without being able to view it in person. {NOTE: Maybe you guys can work on your description as it was decent but nothing great} In addition to their amazing website, Oliver was just a great guy and an amazing agent. I have counted and have had a total of 70 emails with him, and I have to commend him for replying to each and every single one of them super promptly. (No body likes waiting, especially something like this where you are in a way paid for your excellent survice) Oliver was always super professional, answered all my questions with great detail and the best part replied me either immediately or so fast that I was never waiting for a response. Oliver and his colleagues such as Andrew and Madlen also provided me with excellent support throughout this process. Even though, after I signed my contract I would a similar property to mine in the same building and floor for a cheaper price, I never once felt like I was scammed as by just looking at the huge difference in marketing, you wouldn’t even know it was the same property. All in all, to both landlords and tenants, Paramount Properties is one of the best agencies I have ever dealt with and by a huge margin mind you. I cannot speak for how my tenancy will be during my 2 year stay with them but I guess youll hear about it in my next review.

We have worked with Paramount twice - first when buying the property seven years ago and now selling the property this year during the Covid pandemic. As buyers, we liked Lionel Stoll’s informative, calm and frank approach. He kept the purchase moving and he was always responsive to our communications. During our sale this year, Lionel has again been a great sales agent - the initial marketing of the property was done superbly and good offers flowed early. I have recently rented a property with Paramount properties who have supported a refurb, sourced tenants and are now managing the property on my behalf. The support I have been given, the speed in which items are addressed and the efficiency with which everything has been done, has been excellent. Spencer has facilitated electricians, painters and handymen with speed and efficiency - all of whom have done a quality job. The attention to detail to ensure the property looked great for marketing and was spotless for the tenants was much appreciated. Tenants were found promptly. I've had good contact with the property manager, Tash, and so far I've heard nothing from the tenants which is a good sign. I would recommend paramount on the basis of the service I've received.

Paramount may provide a good service to its landlord but it does not care about its tenants. They constantly "bully" us about matters that is not our issue, I would certainly never rent a place managed by them again. For example, the flat we're in has ventilation issues and a poorly build extension with no adequate heating, hence mould grows on walls of the extended wall every winter. Paramount arranged for a 3rd party to assess the property, and the lady that came told us the property does not have enough ventilation. However as the report is not in the landlord's favour, Paramount never shared the details of the report and instead insist its our "lifestyle issues" and keeps sending me guides on how to clean the mould, and how I should always keep windows open yet at the same time heat the flat to a constant 22C. They would always ignore my emails where I explain that I do keep the windows open while cooking, and the flat is heated. In the end I did clean the mould as it was getting out of control and we have a cat so I was worried for her health. Paramout were clearly unwilling to do anything about it apart from trying to teach me how to do things for them. I'm a landlord myself and would never treat my tenants the same way I have been treated. Its obviously my words against theirs but I know its not my lifestyle, I've lived in many flats over the years and never had mould issues this bad.

Paramount have been a breath of fresh air so far after a stressful experience renting elsewhere for the last couple of years, I would highly recommend using them. They take care in helping you move everything across with utilities etc, and Oliver and Katie and the team have been great at every step of the way. They really put in extra effort and care into everything they do. We are looking forward to the rest of our renting experience. Update: we rented with Paramount for 18 months and were very sad when we left for a bigger place. The property was managed by Tash and they were so attentive to issues, we have rented 4 flats in the local area and I can safely say that Paramount is the best service of all local estate agents for property management. The experience of reporting and dealing with issues was stress free and repairs very prompt - and that is very rare for London rentals.
