GoogleUseless agency, don't complete a request when asking things to be fixed for example the boiler. Refuse to resolve an issue with rats. I ensured the house was spotlessly cleaned before we left, we left the house in better condition than it was given to us and they complained the house was not clean! Awful agency don't recommend.

GoogleI'd definitely consider working with Royston & Lund as a seller. Really there is nothing to complain about -- everyone was helpful and professional for me as buyer. The fact is this is a seller's market and understanding how much to bid on properties is a frustrating experience for buyers. It's clear that the agents are working in the sellers interest - but I think open bids/online auction might be a better way to go -- I imagine those who may wonder if they've overbid may well pull out before contract exchange when they get second thoughts and an open bid process might prevent these things from happening.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleI used Royston and Lund at West Bridgford to rent my property out. They seemed ok but when the tenants handed in their notice the agents refused to do the check out inventory service that we had paid for when they moved in. It took them six months to acknowledge their mistake by which time we had lost money to our tenant as we couldn't access the original inventory.
Three weeks ago I asked them to value the property for sale. Chased them twice and eventually today they rang to say they would be 'uncomfortable' providing a valuation as they didn't handle many properties in the area. Bizarre. I think they actually misunderstood thinking I wasnt going to sell and didn't want the bother. They didn't feel uncomfortable when they set a rental price and took my money for that. So don't use them if you want them to deal with a property more than 2 miles from bridgford- they clearly only want business in their immediate vicinity.
I wouldn't bother to be honest. There are plenty of estate agents out there, it's a competitive market. Id find someone else

GoogleOur experience with Royston and Lund was with the wonderful Samantha Simkins. From the very start she was on hand to answer all of our queries and worked tirelessly on our behalf to make sure everything went through as smoothly as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and even after we had exchanged and had a few problems she knew exactly who to contact to resolve. She was always quick to reply and kept us informed every step of the way. That communication helped get us through what was a really stressful 4 months (none of it Samantha's fault may I add!) I cannot recommend her and in turn Royston and Lund as even from our initial enquiry the rest of the staff where a fount of knowledge and advice and messages were always passed along quickly. I would heartily recommend them again. 5 stars!
