My experience was awful. I was trying to find a property before relocating from an overseas country. I called the office and arranged three viewings on the same day. I talked to one of my friends who lives approximately 300 miles away from where the properties were located. When I called the office, I asked not once but twice to different staff if a family of four is allowed by the landlord, and the answer was yes. Then, my friend saw the properties and we applied for the property that we liked. Our application was accepted and we were asked to pay the holding deposit. I was going to make an overseas payment but I just wanted to confirm the move-in date and asked if a discount would be possible. However, the staff returned me that the property is not suitable for four people and therefore they canceled the process after they directed me to pay the holding deposit. They even claimed that I didn’t state that we were 4 people in our application, but, I gave all the details in the application form, even for the ages of our kids. After all, when I reproached, they said that there was another application and the landlord decided to go on with that application. It is already difficult to arrange all these renting things from abroad, and this agency made it much more difficult.

GoogleHaving complained about my damp bathroom and toilet and wallpaper coming off ceiling they never got round to sorting it , my mum helped me clean the house up and we also hired rug doctor to clean carpets which looked great when we had done . I worked all the way through covid as a ambulance driver and ended up having financial difficulties and moved back to my mums . Amd the greedy landlord playing up paying my deposit back , still waiting hope they are ashamed of themselvesNegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI rented a property from Rex Gooding for three years, during which time I was plagued by two persistent leaks in the ceiling. Despite continually phoning and emailing the agency to inform them that the leaks were worsening and there was a hole in my ceiling, Rex Gooding did nothing about it - to the point that the leaks began to drip down into the flat beneath mine too. Upon ending my tenancy, the leak was still not fixed - and Rex Gooding took it upon themselves to argue with me about my deposit, even hanging the phone up on me. Awful, negligent company!
