GoogleAfter a very difficult buying a selling process with other estate agents, we were thrilled with the service from Carter and King. James was fantastic and incredibly supportive during the offering stage, and came back to us quickly when we had questions. He knew his stuff and clearly wanted the best for his clients, whilst also doing his best to give us (the buyer) what we needed. We were then well supported by Sharon, who ensured that we were kept up to date with things throughout the process. GoogleI found Carter & King fantastic as a first-time buyer, they made the whole process easy by connecting me with excellent mortgage advisor, conveyancer and surveyor who were all impartial. James and Sharon were extremely professional and helpful from start to finish. I had viewed two properties with James and he was always very friendly, happy to offer advice, and helped me see the potential of the property I bought. He later gave good recommendations on local tradesmen to carry out some initial repairs. Thank you Carter & King for making the whole process stress-free.

GoogleAmazing service throughout the sale of our home. From Yousaf visiting to provide an evaluation, photos being under by Blaine and the communication with Chloe and Kirstie. This is the second time we have sold with Carter and King, we were kept up to date with viewings, feedback and information regarding the sale and completion dates. Would 100% recommend to anyone selling their home.

GoogleI've had a previously good experience with C&K having bought through them. However, I received a rather unpleasant and premeditated call from Morgan who had taken the time to compare my estate agents' sales for the year versus theirs as a means of discrediting them and, in turn my decision. I found the approach extremely aggressive, lacking decency, and very underhanded as my agent had already taken the time to come round and take photos, etc. I think she would benefit from showing some humility and learning to build rapport better as she comes off as a little disingenuous and cold. This experience left me with no alternative but to avoid using Carter and King in the future. I have nothing negative to say about anyone else there. They are very good and effective.

GoogleSold both of our houses through Carter and King. We found them to be so helpful throughout the process, advising of all the procedures (initially which we weren’t aware of due to it being the first house we sold). They supported us with speaking to legal services and answered all questions when needed. They ensured that we got the best possible price for our house and really did go above and beyond. I would definitely be recommending C&K to my family and friends.

GoogleWe've moved quite a few times in the past and it's never been a particularly fun experience! Dealing with Carter and King has been the exception to this however. They put our house on for £50k more than other agents suggested and got full asking price (in a downward market). Can't ask more really. But we got more as Kristie who handled the sale once agreed was genuinely brilliant. She was completely on top of the detail of the whole chain and I didn't have to chase all the time (like I've done every other time we've moved!) as I knew she'd be straight on the phone if there was an update. Of course we had to deal with other estate agents and conveyancers in the chain who were incompetent but that just highlighted how great Kristie and the rest at Carter and King were. Hopefully we won't be moving for many years but if we did we'd only go and speak to Carter and King.

GoogleFrom the start we received nothing short of excellent customer service. Yousaf was professional and personable. He spent time in our home getting to know us and what we were looking for in our sale. The property brochure they put together for our house was polished and showed our house in the best light. James and Joel handled the enquiries and bookings and ultimately the offers. The house was put on the market on Tuesday, we had back to back viewings booked on Saturday and by Monday we had accepted one of many offers. In terms of Sales progression, Sharon always made herself available to discuss any concerns we had and was great at chasing things up the chain. I honeslty can not recommend these guys enough! They are a well oiled machine and they know exactly what they're doing. They kept us in the loop the entire way through and they made the experience as pain free as it could possibly be! James was responsible for my viewings. He was personable and well presented and obviously did a great job as the house was sold shortly after the initial viewings. GoogleJames was an absolute hero during our sale. Right from Yousef's valuation we knew that C&K would sell our house. The way they set up the viewings/ negotiations resulted in us getting the best possible deal and we sold in 4 days!! Soon after, lockdown arrived and poor James had be nagging him daily to progress but he was fantastic and with sluggish solicitors/ difficult mortgage lenders in chain he kept me constantly informed and I felt certain he was on the case. He managed to get our sale through during lockdown despite some solicitors/ agents furloughed. It went through on his birthday and still he was available. Cannot recommend the team/ James enough and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

GoogleMyself and my partner had a an amazing experience with Carter & King and I can't thank the staff enough for all their help. I want to especially say thank you to firstly James who from the start to finish was fantastic, he was very dedicated and helpful with the whole process, everything with James was so comfortable, as soon as we had our first viewing with James after viewings with other estate agents we decided to stick to Carter & King when it came down to the purchase of our first home as James was so professional and provided us with as much property information as possible. James even went above and beyond by coming out to the property we were buying so we could do measurements for a 2nd time. Secondly I would like to thank Joel as he ensured the property we was purchasing was cleaned after seeing the tenant left the property unclean, he very quickly acted on this by the time I had phoned after seeing the property he had already started getting this sorted for us. Sharon really helped us when it came down to our last stages of buying our property. Sharon was very on the ball when it came down to communicating between solicitors and us. If it weren't for Sharon we would of possibly completed a lot later than the seller wanted as she helped things move along faster and always responded efficiently to emails and calls. We don't usually do reviews but we had to after the experience we had.The staff members are a credit to Carter & King, we will certainly look to use Carter & King again in the future. -Lauren & Stuart X

Right from the initial consultation through to completion the service and advice we have received has been, prompt, professional and seamless. We’d like to say a special thank you to Harriet, Joel and especially Amy who’s dedication and support has been fantastic! (Even when Amy was taken ill and had to go home). Amy went above and beyond our expectations by giving me reassurance and guidance through a particularly stressful time when my husband was out of the country due to work commitments. Went above and beyond - especially Joel who was very flexible with his schedule to meet my needs; he was also fantastic on moving day constantly checking the process so I could move in in a timely manner. Amy and James were excellent at keeping me up to date with the process of my sale/purchase. Yousef was very informative during my valuation and he was happy to explain in depth my options to ensure I had a sale package I was happy with. Overall excellent service, would only sell with them in the future. Thank you for all your help.

GoogleVery poor service. Probably okay if you’re selling a big expensive house. Those people receive a better service, but your average 2/3 bed semi, they treat you like something you catch on your shoe. Poor communication. Poor level of information. No apologies for mistakes made. Uncaring, high handed and hard work. Never again.
