GoogleRude service and unreasonably high fees. I’ve had several disappointing interactions with this estate agent. I have recently interreacted with Edward and he has always made just 1 way communication. This experience is quite common now with various representative they have got in the firm. Each time I asked reasonable questions about their services and fees, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. Rather than providing clear, helpful information, the tone was unprofessional and pushy. To make matters worse, they are charging some of the highest agency fees in the market, without offering service or transparency to justify it. It felt like they were more focused on upselling than actually helping. Buying or selling a property is a big decision, and I expected basic respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this agency fell far short. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

GoogleI found Carter & King fantastic as a first-time buyer, they made the whole process easy by connecting me with excellent mortgage advisor, conveyancer and surveyor who were all impartial. James and Sharon were extremely professional and helpful from start to finish. I had viewed two properties with James and he was always very friendly, happy to offer advice, and helped me see the potential of the property I bought. He later gave good recommendations on local tradesmen to carry out some initial repairs. Thank you Carter & King for making the whole process stress-free.

GoogleI've had a previously good experience with C&K having bought through them. However, I received a rather unpleasant and premeditated call from Morgan who had taken the time to compare my estate agents' sales for the year versus theirs as a means of discrediting them and, in turn my decision. I found the approach extremely aggressive, lacking decency, and very underhanded as my agent had already taken the time to come round and take photos, etc. I think she would benefit from showing some humility and learning to build rapport better as she comes off as a little disingenuous and cold. This experience left me with no alternative but to avoid using Carter and King in the future. I have nothing negative to say about anyone else there. They are very good and effective.

We found them to be so helpful throughout the process, advising of all the procedures (initially which we weren’t aware of due to it being the first house we sold). They supported us with speaking to legal services and answered all questions when needed. They ensured that we got the best possible price for our house and really did go above and beyond. I would definitely be recommending C&K to my family and friends.

GoogleWe've moved quite a few times in the past and it's never been a particularly fun experience! Dealing with Carter and King has been the exception to this however. They put our house on for £50k more than other agents suggested and got full asking price (in a downward market). Can't ask more really. But we got more as Kristie who handled the sale once agreed was genuinely brilliant. She was completely on top of the detail of the whole chain and I didn't have to chase all the time (like I've done every other time we've moved!) as I knew she'd be straight on the phone if there was an update. Of course we had to deal with other estate agents and conveyancers in the chain who were incompetent but that just highlighted how great Kristie and the rest at Carter and King were. Hopefully we won't be moving for many years but if we did we'd only go and speak to Carter and King.

GoogleFrom the start we received nothing short of excellent customer service. Yousaf was professional and personable. He spent time in our home getting to know us and what we were looking for in our sale. The property brochure they put together for our house was polished and showed our house in the best light. James and Joel handled the enquiries and bookings and ultimately the offers. The house was put on the market on Tuesday, we had back to back viewings booked on Saturday and by Monday we had accepted one of many offers. In terms of Sales progression, Sharon always made herself available to discuss any concerns we had and was great at chasing things up the chain. I honeslty can not recommend these guys enough! They are a well oiled machine and they know exactly what they're doing. They kept us in the loop the entire way through and they made the experience as pain free as it could possibly be!
