Couldn’t recommend Mike at Mr & Mrs Clarke enough. The marketing is second to none, his availability is second to none and he has the patience of a Saint (even though mine has been tested beyond measure). The conveyancing process has been tough to say the least but Mike has gone above and beyond. I really wouldn’t have used anyone else.

Honestly, Vicky cared as much about our house sale as we did. The service we received was way over and above what you would normally expect from an estate agent. Vicky advised us on how best to prepare our house for sale and styled our home so beautifully for the pictures and viewings. Most importantly, Vicky got the right people through the door which led to quick offers on the table and secured us a fantastic price. And when getting everything over the line, Vicky guided the whole process. Getting everything moving as quickly as possible. I cannot recommend Vicky highly enough!

Edd has been just brilliant! He did a superb job looking after both us and our buyers. He was available for our questions, any day of the week, did a great job negotiating on our behalf, kept things moving, gave us insightful advice when we weren't sure and ultimately secured an above asking price sale. All in all, a thoroughly professional, yet friendly, service. I never felt I was dealing with an estate agent, but rather a friend that knew the business and who I knew would also look after our buyers. Just superb!

I contacted Mike about two weeks ago, to discuss the possibility of selling my home with Mr and Mrs Clarke. The selling of a home can be quite a stressful, emotional and personal time and Mike from the very start of the process was amazing. Extremely professional and knowledgable, he explained the whole process from start to finish, stating how he worked and what he would be doing to sell my property. He was true to his word in every way. Always easy to contact, answered every question and quibble, and arrived to every appointment on time. My house went up for sale on a Thursday and by the Saturday Mike had arranged three viewings. After the viewings had ended, Mike was contacted by fourth buyer who within 30 mins was viewing my house and on a Saturday evening too, I don’t know any agent that would do that. Mike dropped everything to attend the viewing. Top class service from someone who really cares about his clients regardless of the value of their home. Thank you for your help, support and hard work!!

From staging my home and taking professional photos showcasing my property to its best potential, the write up description was incredible and I was confident I chose the right agent. Although, the sale of my house took a little longer than expected due to the restrictions Mike was always there to reassure me anytime day or night. Mike was very friendly and professional. He was very flexible and worked around you so I was able to view late in the evening. He had an answer for all my questions regarding the property where as in previous experiences with other estate agents who didn't have the information to answer questions relating to the property. Also Mike didn't rush the viewing and was very accommodating to rearrange a second viewing. I am hoping to purchase a home through Mike and if when I need to sell I will be using his services and also will be recommending his services to family and friends. It is finally refreshing to see an Estate agents who excels in excellent customer service and one of the best I have come across.

A little behind with the review but it’s sentiment is still there. Mike is a very approachable gent who doesn’t switch off at 5pm. He understands we all have busy lives and fits in around them. We bought from Mr & Mrs Clarke last October, it was a crazy few months but every question and query I threw his way, he came back with the answer. Mike has a very good attention to detail and ensures everything is signed off with 100% customer satisfaction. This is (hopefully) our forever home but if our adventure takes us somewhere else, I know we’ll use Mike for selling. Keep up the good work!

When we stepped into our dream house, we were immediately welcomed and made to feel at home by Mike. Before we looked around, we had a cup of coffee and discussed the property and what we wanted in our future home. Needless to say that we fell in love with it and knew it was the home for us and our expectant baby.Throughout covid, purchasing a property was not straight forward, but Mike was always on hand to reassure us and to keep us updated. This is the second time we have used Mr and Mrs Clarke. First time to purchase a house and the second time to sell a house. We wouldn’t use anyone else on the market! Outstanding customer service, nothing is ever too much and the marketing is unreal. Amy helped us sell our property and from start to finish has been phenomenal! She has gone above and beyond to help us in anyway possible and make us feel comfortable. Her expertise and professionalism is second to none. Not to mention how friendly and respectful she has been every step of the way. I truly believe our house wouldn’t have sold as quickly or as smoothly without her overseeing everything. Friendly on approach however... I was keen on a property they had listed in Marlow - I had scheduled for a second viewing but like in life, things changed that day and I couldn’t make the appointment because of family commitments. I made Gemma well aware I couldn’t attend the appointment well before the appointment was due to start - and I had apologised. She responded with a very aggressive unprofessional voicemail and then shortly afterwards a neurotic voicenote on WhatsApp explaining how terrible it was that I would inconvenience her in such a way speaking in a condescending tone. I wish you all the best with your busy schedule - you sound like a very important person Gemma but you may want to check your valuations. They don’t seem very accurate. Edit: Be vigilant as it would seem the floor plans are inaccurate. If you are relying on the calculations for internal space - she will add an additional 5-10 square metres, effectively lying about the size of the properties to get potential buyers interested. I find the blatant dishonesty astounding. This type of behaviour is a disservice to the profession. 62 out of 159 houses REDUCED from initial listing price (November 2024). That’s approximately 40% of overall sales being overvalued and customer expectations not being met. Yikes!

FacebookIt’s taken quite a while to write this review (something else always gets in the way), and particularly when you’ve moved in to a new house, reviewing the estate agent who handled our seller’s sale, not even our own, isn’t immediately a priority. However it is testament to how good our experience was with Mr & Mrs Clarke, that we did not want to neglect to review them, we owe them that much. When we came to look at the property being listed by Mr & Mrs Clarke, we had spent an exhausting amount of time looking for the right property for both of us, and had firmly stuck to the “it has to feel right to us both” principle, easier said than done when you have viewed approx. 25+ properties and are starting to question whether you’ll ever find that one that makes you both think “this is the one.” It does make us wonder whether we would have had that feeling on the first viewing if it had been a different estate agent. Having been shown around so many properties by countless agents, ranging from pleasant and professional, to downright ignorant, disinterested, or a talking cliché, we instantly warmed to Borja, who was very welcoming, accommodating and genuine from the first meeting. Not just a sincere and genuine personality, he had also quite clearly spent a lot of time talking to the sellers, listening to their needs, and absorbing as much information as possible in order to best be able to represent them and answer questions about the property. We asked many questions about adjacent land, rights of way, previous planning permission, and more. There was nothing we asked that Borja was not completely knowledgeable about, which in our experience was non-existent in the other properties we had viewed prior to this one. He had a very open and detailed candour in answering questions, and we knew within minutes he was a very trustworthy genuine professional who wasn’t into guessing or offering vague answers to try and make a sale, he was more focused on ensuring we had the answers we needed to decide if this was the right property for us. Attempts to tell us what we wanted to hear to try and create an attraction to a property was something we had become used to spotting early on, and had tended to factor in putting us off properties. Borja knew what he was talking about, and conveyed that information in personable and genuine way, giving us total confidence in him; it was clear his priority was to ensure he had the right buyer for his clients. I don’t doubt the experience helped us to reach a conclusion on first viewing that we should return for a second the next week. He maintained excellent contact by phone and email throughout the process, returned our calls and emails promptly and was never “unavailable,” minimising the stress as we went through the period of making offers, this further warmed us to the experience of dealing with this agent. By the end of the experience, he very much felt like a friend to us, such was his manner and degree of care. Once the offer was accepted, he was genuinely delighted, guided us through the ongoing process and sale of the house, and went above and beyond when it came to progressing things along and facilitating communication between our sellers, and other parties involved. His handling of the sale of the property was enviable when we look back at how the sale of our own property was handled by a different, more well-known estate agent. Not because they were particularly bad, but they clearly had neither the time, nor the interest to provide the sort of personal vested attention that our sellers clearly had received from Mr & Mrs Clarke in progressing the sale of their house, and I expect it was a far more enjoyable and less stressful experience selling theirs than for us selling ours. I cannot recommend highly enough the first class, personal and genuine way that Borja handled the entire process, and this is absolutely to his credit and Mr & Mrs Clarke’s. After a year of various estate agents, countless viewings and houses, and the inevitable stresses of selling and buying, our experience with Borja was hands down the highlight of the process, second only to the feeling of finally moving in! Our sincerest and utmost thanks and gratitude for helping us to choose and fall in love with this house, and we would not choose anyone else to sell our house with, not that we have any inclinations of every moving having found what we both felt was the right one, finally.

My agent, Lisa Cook, had a full and thorough understanding of the area and the type of person my property would appeal to. They go the extra mile when listing your property with professional photos that show your homes full potential. I had a full asking price offer within 3 days of going on the market and Lisa was instrumental in driving the chain as well as being on hand 7 days a week, daytime and evening, to answer any calls/texts and queries. Exceptional and personal service, I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Being an estate agent myself it is always difficult knowing what to expect from another agent however from the moment I met Paul I knew it was going to be great!
