Mike made the whole experience of buying our home much smoother than we expected. He was always quick to respond, kept everything moving, and made sure we weren’t left in the dark at any stage. His personal and proactive approach and excellent communication really helped take the pressure off us during of course a stressful time. We felt like he genuinely cared about getting things over the line for us, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated agent.

My circumstances for selling were complex and Kara was very empathetic and went above and beyond to ensure I was kept in the know. Serious Communication and Transparency Concerns

My experience with this matter has been deeply disappointing from a communication, transparency, and professional standards perspective. A significant reduction in the agreed sale price of the property was apparently negotiated following a surveyor’s report, however I was not informed directly by the estate agent despite remaining a legal co-owner of the property. I instead became aware of the revised position through the conveyancing solicitor handling the transaction. I was also not informed of attempts made to revert to the second-highest offer and only discovered this through persistent questioning, nor the response received from the prospective buyers. When questioned as to why the other owner had been informed over the weekend whilst I had not, I was advised that I would have been informed on the Monday however by that stage I had already independently discovered the matter through the solicitors and had to make enquiries myself. Regardless of any later order concerning conduct of sale, material developments affecting the transaction and my financial position should have been communicated promptly, transparently, and consistently to all legal owners. The failure to do so significantly undermined my confidence in the transparency and reliability of the service being provided. Given the significant financial implications involved, I consider this to reflect serious communication failures and a service which fell short of the basic standards of transparency, consistency, and professionalism reasonably expected within the management of a property transaction particularly in circumstances where professional fees and commission remain payable despite such significant communication failings. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend these services.

Lisa has gone above and beyond to help me purchase my first home. From taking time out of her busy schedule to meet me at the property with builders, to going back on her own to measure up a bathroom and provide more in depth plans for me. Communication is really clear, helpful and she's responded to any (& many) queries promptly. Nothing has seemed too much trouble and I can't thank Lisa enough for taking the edge off a stressful experience with her kind demeanor. Exceptional. Within 5 minutes of meeting Mike Watkins I knew he was the right person to sell our apartment. Mike is obviously a very experienced estate agent who knows his area very well. He’s professional, knowledgeable, helpful, personable, trustworthy, and an all round good guy. I’m very much a fan of this modern approach to estate agency, I like the way he marketed the apartment, his flexible approach, the way he communicated, and of course the fact he was out sole point of contact. In addition to all of this Mike went above and beyond to help us, and ensure the process ran smoothly. Mike offers a very personal service, always helpful, always at the end of the phone, never pushy, but always proactive. A discerningly different estate agent. Yes, that's correct. Restoring our belief in Estate Agents - Vicky Floros

When we sold our last property over 6 years ago, fixed fee online estate agents (House Network/Purple Bricks etc) had just started to appear. After being left feeling underwhelmed by the experience we were receiving from high street estate agents, who felt like nothing more that door openers when we viewed houses, we decided to take the plunge and manage the sale ourselves using an online agent to list the property. The reality was the time and effort spent staging the property, managing all viewings, and second viewings, and third viewings…. negotiating and managing the progress of the sale and solicitors at every stage far outweighed what we actually saved in estate agent commission. However, when it came to selling our next property and invited several Stamford’s extensive high street agents round to value our home, we still had the same gut feel, would they really represent and present our home to it’s full potential and maximise the value from the sale? Their valuations and knowledge of the area and previous properties sold was underwhelming versus the readily available information on property portals, every meeting we had the same feeling, they are looking for a quick sale. That was until we met Vicky. Vicky is revolutionising the added value service of marketing a property in Stamford and Rutland. I think that is the real difference between what Vicky and Mr and Mrs Clarke offer, a full-service marketing and sales approach rather than a traditional property sales approach. Her experience from working in both interior design and real estate in both North America and Europe means from the moment Vicky walks through your door it is a totally different experience. She took time to understand every inch of the property, the features, the work that had been completed, highlighting key selling points that would really make a property description shine. In addition to this Vicky lives and breathes the local area of Stamford and Rutland making her a great ambassador to those interested in moving to the local area. Vicky’s advice on how to get the property ready for a photo shoot was indispensable and the time spent staging the property ahead of a full day shoot with a professional photographer as more akin to a home magazine shoot than an estate agent coming round with a camera round his neck to take a few pictures. The impact of this was that as soon as we went on market, we were inundated with viewing requests, Vicky filtered through these requests prioritising proceedable buyers in a strong position and as a result we received offers £50k over the valuation of agents who had previously visited. As with every sale, and even more so selling through a pandemic, there are always a few bumps in the road and at times selling and buying a house can be an emotional rollercoaster! Vicky was there every single step of the way managing the sale through and keeping it on track and saving our sanity in the process! We are now settled in our new home but already know that when it comes to selling this house in the future that Vicky will be the first person we call. She has restored our belief in estate agents and Mr and Mrs Clarke are really setting the standard of property marketing.

Kara has been absolutely brilliant from the moment she replied (almost immediately) to my online enquiry requesting further information about the services Mr & Mrs Clarke could offer in regards to selling my flat in Leamington. Kara helped me no end from start to finish and I honestly don’t think I would have had such a seamless process with any other agent. Kara organised everything - the photographer and relevant props, a gardener to spruce up the outside and new carpets, nothing was too much trouble for her even during the second national lockdown! Warm, honest, kind, thorough and highly competent, still one the best things I can say about Edd is that he saved me hours and hours of my life! He really took care of us, booking in tradespeople when needed, overseeing work, taking pictures, following up with viewers and solicitors promptly and effectively. He was always there when you needed him, always patient with everyone, and always had a solution to any problem that arose. My previous experience with estate agents was not good, to say the least. They do the bare minimum and push you to accept offers you are not comfortable with - it's all commission to them, right? Edd was the complete opposite. A friend throughout, who left you in no doubt that he was representing your interests alone. We ended up with a good offer on our house, with a couple who we were delighted to sell to. Had a first time viewing with Mike (Mr Clarke) and he was absolutely amazing. Extremely informative, not pushy, interested in our thoughts on the property, happy to answer any questions we had with transparency and honesty, something you don't normally associate sadly with estate agents. Fantastic agent sells my house

Having recently tried to sell my home with a large national agency, my experience with Gemma Parr in Marlow was fantastic. Gemma will always show the house herself, you know that someone who knows the house well, and is great at her job, is there to guide the potential buyer. Gemma always left a whatapp message or a voice note after each viewing so you knew how the viewing went. I really wish that I had gone with Mr and Mrs Clarke instead of the large agency to start, and I hope Gemma is still around when I come to sell next time. Highly recommended.
