I reported the heater bad since around July, yet to be fixed. No hot water presently for the past 2weeks, cooler not working for the past 2weeks, both has been reported enough times, no sensible response from this god forsaken company. The staff don’t seem to care that we have no hot water during this extreme cold period. I wish I read review before renting from these people. Even the bed we are sleeping on is terrible, I and my husband now have back pains, my own worsened. AVOID AT ALL COST- Nafisat, Nottingham

My husband and I moved to our apartment last year. Days after moving, the boiler stopped working (a problem that apparently, the agency and the landlord knew since the beginning because it was some kind of old problem). I called Leef and they asked me to send an enquire on fixflo. Because of the e-mail system and all the delays from them, we stayed 2 WEEKS without hot water and the heater. Then, in November (last year), the CO alarm went off. We called the emergency, they turn off everything. We called the agency, sent e-mails, and sent the enquire on fixflo. We stayed 1 WEEK in the same conditions again because Leef didn't even contact the engineers to come and see how to fix it. At that time, an engineer asked us to call them before the emergency, if it happens again. In November (this year) it happened again... we called the agency and the emergency. On the phone, she said their engineer was on the way (which one never arrived) and she HUNG UP on my husband. I couldn't believe it! We sent emails, messages, and complaints on fixflo. It was 3°C and the agency only contacted the gas engineer 5 days after that and we stayed 1 WEEK without gas, hot water, and heater again. Today it's -7°C outside and our boiler stopped working. The agency didn't even take our calls (which were before 5 pm). I am wondering how long we have to wait in these conditions only to be replied

DO NOT RENT WITH LEEF. worst estate agents in the history of estate agents. If I could give 0 stars I would. Repair work never gets done, they will just ignore you repeatedly. They ask you to report on their online system and they will get back to you, they never do. You ring and email and they just tell you to report it on the system, you tell them you have and they say we'll get someone out to fix it and no one ever shows up. I was left without heating and a leak from the heating pipe for 3 months, constantly ringing them to get it fixed, then they got their boiler repair person to just text me on how to top the boiler up so I could have heating (had to do this multiple times a day which made the leak worse). When you leave they do whatever they can to try to get more money from you, including saying rent is calculated daily now instead of weekly to get an extra £20 a week. This company lies and doesn't care about it tenants, all they care about is money. And the staff are incredibly rude And the good reviews on here are fake.

Horrible experience with this agent. Showing no respect at all. Just ghost you out of a sudden after you have submitted an application. Don't tell you whether it's successful or not. It's just a gesture of politeness even if the application isn't accepted. They don't even show that to potential tenants, can't imagine how they'll treat people who have signed a contracted with them (I guess many of those comments saying they don't deal with issues are probably correct). I'm really glad I've found elsewhere to live, £550 for that small shanty 2 Moorfields apartment that doesn't even have a table + this kind of customer service are just ridiculous. Everyone should stay away unless you really can't find anyone.

They’ve been my management for one month and I can confirm that they’re the most unhelpful and worst agency I’ve ever been with. I moved into an apartment that was filthy, it smelt of smoke, things were broken, you can see nothing has been looked over, no fresh paint on the walls, nothing had been cleaned. I’ve been assigned Isaac Latimer as my project manager who’s been very silent since contacting him about this. There’s mould in every room, there’s cigarette burns in the sofa, there’s rips in the sofa, the doors off it’s hinge, none of the dining chairs are in working condition, there’s burn marks in the carpet (which was conveniently covered up with the furniture), the head board even has white marks on it, there was sticky residue on the toilet and in the sink…just to name a few issues. I ended up writing a full SEVEN part email. The first email explained all the issues I had moving in, it came to around 60 problems. I then sent six emails to follow with evidence for every thing (all added to my inventory too). When I moved in I mentioned how disappointed I was, to which Isaac responded saying there had been “extensive let re-works”, but you can tell that was a lie. Not even a touch up with paint? I sent my long email on the 3rd August, but since then everyone’s been silent. I’ve tried to reach out to Isaac since and still haven’t heard anything back. I contacted another member in the company regarding my meter readings etc (and they were replying reasonably fast) but they gave me the wrong suppliers and hadn’t gave them my meter readings anyway. I explained this to them and asked a few questions and added on that I was waiting for a response from Isaac at the end, then nothing since. I’ve called multiple times, one went through and the woman was not helpful whatsoever, she just said she’d let Isaac know but again, he never followed up. Since then none of the calls are going through, apparently, they’re that busy! I’ve reported stuff to maintenance and haven’t heard anything either. I also got told this is the first property they own in the block and that’s why they couldn’t give me the answers I needed but turns out they’ve owned at least another one for almost a year! Oh yeah… and there’s no block management? So how much I am paying towards this? It’s ridiculous, I’m paying a lot to live here… and it’s not worth what I’m paying, especially if half the furnishings and touch ups aren’t up to standard (and let’s not forget the mould!!!). This customer service is terrible! I’ve tried to give them space and allow time to get back to me but it’s beyond a joke now… it’s been a month. Listen to the reviews, they don’t care! They just want your money and they’re liars. My only choice is having to go down the legal route if they continue to ignore me. AVOID!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. After reading the reviews, I’m comforted in knowing I am not the only one who thinks this company is disgraceful. As soon as we paid the deposit it all went downhill from there and didn’t stop going downhill for the entire 13 months I was there. I have never been so stressed out by a letting agents in the 4 years I’ve been renting various properties within Leicester. - Before moving in, the correspondence was unprofessional, with other tenants personal details being sent to us via email and on uktenantdata. - When I first moved in, the whole flat was in a disgusting state. Nobody told me the property was in such a state before hand. In times of covid, it’s totally unacceptable that the property was not cleaned at all. - Upon moving in, there was so much damage done to the property including almost all of the furniture. The bed was completely broken, as well as the wardrobe, front door chain lock, dining chair, shower frame, freezer shelves, bedroom drawers, kitchen cupboard, not to mention all of the cosmetic damage that made a beautiful modern apartment look like a crack den - I was told everything would be fixed within the first month of me being there. But that was a lie. After chasing them up so many times and also recording damages, no repairs were carried out. At all. For the entire 13 months. Since having no choice but to sleep on a broken bed, I now suffer from extreme back pain that I have never experienced before. Due to no repairs being carried out, the bed got worse and worse and looked like the titanic sinking. I still suffer from back pain as a result. - They pocketed the previous tenants deposit, which is supposed to pay for all repairs caused by those tenants. But as I mentioned, no repairs were ever carried out during the time I was living there. So they just stole the deposit. I really suffered and when I tried to chase them on this issue, they basically just said we don’t give a toss and within the same email told me I have to pay an extra months rent even though my contract was 12 months and this is in writing on the DPS website and the contract. I had to cough up £1100 for an empty property plus bills. - No empathy from the staff whatsoever even after practically begging them to fix the bed as I was really suffering. They never had any intention of helping me, or trying to understand my suffering. - They definitely do not clean the place before tenants move in as they actually told me I need to clean the place so the next tenants can move in straightaway - I still had the decency to clean it well but I guarantee it won’t be deep cleaned for the next tenants… - I knew my deposit would not be safe with them, and I have an email stating that they are now charging me for damages that the previous tenants had done. I slept on a broken bed for 12 months. Now they are stealing my deposit. I am just shocked and appalled. Luckily I took videos the day I moved in of the state of the property. But I feel as though this won’t matter because they are just con artists. You’d have to have a very twisted moral compass to work for Leef as I would simply not be able to live with myself. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. Dealing with this company affected me so negatively and impacted me so badly that I felt compelled to write this review. For your own safety, mental well being and hard earned money, do not give your money to these people.

Would give 0 stars if possible. The worst letting agent i've ever encountered. Rented a flat with them in July, after 5 days the flat flooded due to a collapsed drain. They gave us minimal help, didn't rehouse us, took 2 months to resove everything and return rent and deposit. Could not get a hold of them and constantly ignored us when we tried to initiate contact. Gave us incorrect meter readings and when showing us the meters, showed the wrong ones so we ended up with a £200 energy bill for 6 days. So unprofessional, tried to rent out the flat again after we surrendered tenancy without doing proper checks, there was mould everywhere and they were advertising it on rightmove. No one from Leef actually ever visited the flat to see the damage caused, we told them multiple times however they left doors and skirting boards damaged. The most stressful thing I have ever had to deal with, most of our belongings were damaged, the bed was mouldy and broken. They replaced the carpet but nothing else was actually done. Please please please avoid them

Where do I begin with this... My experience with leef has been absolutely appalling. The property I rented had damp and mould growing in every square inch. It ruined my clothes and all my belongings. For 6 months they said they would send somebody to clean the property and fix the leak which was causing the damp. But nothing was done. Then they tried to keep my deposit because of the damage caused by this leak. They simply do not reply to emails, so you have to phone them. When you phone them they are extremely rude and unprofessional I've never seen anything like it. I requested to see the electricity and gas certificates for the property (a legal requirements) because the leak was damaging the electrics. Leef refused to show me these. Leef rent uninhabitable properties and exploit vulnerable people. Stay away don't wast your money. Please just filter there reviews to newest and read the fake positive reviews... It's clear to see. This should be illegal

I had a viewing today on a 3 bedroom house in my local area and I met Scott who was so friendly and helpful, he answered any questions I had and was just really helpful with information about the property. It was also lovely of him to be interested in my family and understood what is was we was looking for. I appreciate the viewing as it's been so hard to get a viewing on a property I have been interested in. Thanks again Scott. Lindsay

Review Scam
Here's the problem with Trustpilot - it can be exploited by companies trying to sweeten people up into give them a great review before they've actually really used their services, which gives a false representation. And that's what happened to me today.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
