Absolute TRASH! They literally pull legitimate reviews that highlight businesses and keep the one bad one center stage as if people are not going to Google first lol. Refused to pay for advertising most recently and noticed my most recent review was pulled AGAIN.

Material misrepresentation of true cost of services. Told to fill out a form to receive reimbursement and received no reply. When I called back I told them about it then they tried to backpedal and say they won’t refund it. On top of that I was called a liar… but as we can see from these 6,000 + reviews they have a longstanding reputation for dishonesty.

Id give zero stars if I could. I requested my account be canceled, because when I tried to cancel it online it just kept giving me the email. So I email to cancel. They emailed back to tell me they received my email and request. They didn't cancel the account until 7 days later then charged me over $200 for that 7 days. Then wouldn't remove the chrage. They took the money from my account and when I called to try and rectify the situation I was lead to believe I was being transferred to a department who can help, the call dropped. The third time I call I got told there's nothing they can do and to email them so the right people can help... honestly do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this website. Facebook ads, Google, business cards literally do anything else.

I believe Yelp operates in a way that feels discriminatory toward minority-owned businesses. In my experience, it seems like businesses that can afford to advertise receive more visibility and support, while those that cannot are left struggling, often with only negative reviews highlighted.

They removed my account for speaking the truth and complaining about my experience with bad businesses and they accused me of having multiple account which I don’t. Idk it’s ok for businesses to mistreat and they don’t care. Idk yelp isn’t as great and resourceful as it supposed to be . Bad app.
