This company is still getting away with fraud and extortion. The billion dollar bullies (yelp documentary) called again. Quick talking and pressure selling. Knowing their game, I asked them if they had finally started removing fraudulent reviews. They will not answer a question. For the fourth time, when I told them I'd think about their ad campaign the one star reviews disappeared. And when I declined their marketing / ad campaign -- the fake one star reviews were put back into place. Fraud

OVER THE YEARS THEY PRETTY MUCH HOUND YOU TO ADVERTISE WITH THEM. They constantly remove legitimate reviews while leaving fake ones. Email you constantly. Then today they took my image off my website to promote their website. The audacity !!Took my image and didn’t even include me in the search or link back to my website. Yelp needs a page on google so everyone can give them the true neg feedback they deserve! You can read true reviews on other platforms about how Yelp does business. Just google search it. Big Brother

Yelp sent me a email saying they were canceling my account as I had done a review on a company they accused if trying to but better reviews. No mention of who that was or that kid was involved but they cancelled me account. I have no idea who is involved in that. They are just unjustly getting rid of people that’s fine. There service is not required as there are alternatives today. I never paid attention to there ratings as they never reflected reality anyway.

Unless you have unlimited finances

Unless you have unlimited finances, unlimited patience and you don't mind being over charged, hi pressure sales people who don't want to take no for an answer, talk over you, hang up on you, not giving you ALL of the information and have problems getting logged on to the site that should tell you what you are getting for $$$ a day they are charging...AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are not worth the frustration that they cause.

Buyer beware! Yelp is filtering out positive reviews for my business. On the same day. One person slammed me because they didn't like what they heard on the telephone. Another person praised me that actually used my services. They highlighted the negative review and didn't even list the positive one. The one that actually used my services. Don't use Yelp, very unfair.

I have used the pedicure service form "Wink Lashes Nails" in Gaithersburg, for over a year, and the initial service was moderate, the owner "sweet" talks to provide service, but as time goes by, the service deteriorates in quality, all she is interested is making and charging money, she does NOT let you give a tip, she charges you automatically, the service is poor quality and I recommend caution on this service.

Maytag service directed me to VIA…

Maytag service directed me to VIA Appliance Repair to fix my Washing Machine. It was throwing an error code that I gave to the service technician when I made my appointment. They ordered a part before ever looking at my machine and cancelled my appt without notifying me. They rescheduled the appt for a week later when the part came in. The technician came and replaced the part, but it did not fix the problem. He diagnosed the issue and informed me that I needed a different part. I paid a total $331.33. He came back a week later with the new part. He installed the new part, but again it did not correct the problem. He then advised me that the issue could be any of several other parts, but he was not sure. He wanted me to pay for another part, wait another week, and let him "try" that. He could not tell me with any degree of certainty that this next attempt would fix my issue. In fact, he told me it could be one of several other parts including possibly the mother board. Part of the $331.33 I paid was a $139.00 Diagnostic fee. Since they never diagnosed what was actually wrong with my washing machine, I believe they owe me $139.00, however, VIA has told me that fee is non-refundable. The technician was very nice and polite, but he was not able to diagnose the issue, nor could the several individuals he called. They just wanted to keep trying new parts (by the way they won't order parts unless you pay for them in advance). Beware of this company. They claim to repair many appliances but all they are really doing is looking at a tech manual and attempting to diagnose your issue, they are not specialists in anything! Buyer BEWARE!

Yelp will remove reviews to those who pay

I complained that someone had left a negative review about my small business and that it was unjust because it was a person that didn't like me personally and had a vendeta. The review had nothing to do with my business. It was only a personal attack against me. When I asked if it could be removed, the agent stated that I had to pay, by paying a membershipt fee. That way I could get any review removed in the future instantly. They wanted me to pay them to remove reviews. What is the point of this website if they are dishonest and biased to those to pay?

Frustrated with Yelp Bull!

"I am a business owner and Yelp has completely failed me. A vendor I hired, who was NEVER my client, posted a retaliatory fake review on my business profile after I refused his offer to pay me to change my honest review of his services. I reported this to Yelp with full details. They told me they would handle it. They didn't. My follow-up contacts were ignored. Yelp recently updated this fraudulent review in 2026, actively refreshing false content they were already notified about. When I formally requested removal, they denied it with no valid explanation.

Worst company every. Do not use them

I am a business owner and will never give one cent to yelp. I opened up a new business 7 months ago where I purchased the the remainder of a business that was closing. I changed the name and kept the old phone number. Now my business carried very simular products as the business that closed. I called yelp to de-list the previous business as it is effecting my search as when people search the old business it says closed not knowing there is another business here. I was told that they can not do anything about it as it is automatic when it will get de-listed. So in out words they have no control over there own program to delete listings which I find hard to believe. I can understand why they try to take pride saying they will help customers, but there very own star rating is less than 2 stars. It just proves if they can't have a good star rating which from this last phone call I can understand why, how can they help anyone else's business. Time you update your policies and listen to your customers who pay thr bills

Poor customer service and giving wrong information.

This last year my wife signed up for a year, with Eco Shield, the pest solutions Co. In April when the Rep.came out 4 23 26 for our application, I asked the rep how many more applications we had. After contacting his office, I was told one. At that time because of cost, we would not be renewing because of rising cost. Being A Senior Citizen, on a fixed income, expenses need to be controlled. Today when I called to complain about our Ant Problem, they told me my contract was cancelled, even though I WAS told I HAD one more application left, and was told by a customer rep, I could get a complacently application. I thanked her very MUCH. However, in about a half hour, I RECEIVED another text that I could not get a complimentary service unless I SIGNED UP for another service. Being in sales and customer service, all my life, I would never make a statement unless it would be fulfilled. THIS IS A POOR WAY TO RUN A COMPANY, WHEN YOUR PHONE INTRODUCTION SAYS your customer service. My next step is to contact Channel 7 is on your side to get their opinion on poor customer service.

Monthly calls to advertise and I am on the DON'T NOT CALL LIST

I was a longtime advertiser, but Yelp showed its true colors. Long story short, they don't care about their customers, just money, and they have shady business practices! They continue to call me to advertise again, even though I have been on the DO NOT CALL LIST for over a year! Month after month, rep after rep, I get a call and an email. I tell them I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and it still happens. The new reps assured me it wouldn't happen again, and sure enough, I received the call and email. I even had one rep get snotty with me, saying, If you were on the list, you wouldn't get calls. It’s almost comical at this point. I reported Yelp to the FTC and FCC! Please leave me alone, YELP, and get your act together.

Got a Call from B. Bates said she could increase traffic to my new web site. I thought I would give this a try. I was not going to be charged UNTIL the campaign was over. So I gave my CC number, I know DUMB right. Right off the bat they charged me $45.00 twice, I complained and they removed the charge. NOBODY mentions when they sign you up they have all the automatic add ons, YOU did not sign up for them BUT they want you to pay for them. I decided I would give the Young Lady another chance and asked her to email me. I noticed she was new on the job, so maybe she was unaware the charges would happen instantly. She called me and when I said I want these charges I did NOT authorize then she tried to talk over me. I am the Customer here, I hung up. I do not want to deal with Unprofessional Folks whom say one thing and do another. I immediately went to my yelp account and noticed I was signed up for all this other options I HAD NOT AGREED TO. I canceled them. I had the 2 charges of $ 45.00 removed, now as of May 28, 2026 I noticed a charge on my CC for $ 14.62. I called and was put on hold for 25 minutes then hung up. I tried to email, crickets, I tried to call again. Finally, I was able to get through, the young Lady said I used those services for 2 days and I must pay for them. This company is so deceptive and their tactics are NOT condusive to any positive working relationship between a Business Owner and a Vendor. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I should of done my home work first before I gave out my CC #. I have disputed the charge and I will cancel my card so they cannot erroneously charge for anything else. Please do not trust them.

I submitted a request for bids on YELP…

I submitted a request for bids on YELP and I got only one reply and that was doubled the price that I received from another fencing company not on YELP. I posted my experience on YELP about the YELP recommended vendor, and they deleted it. Why? don’t know except that they didn’t like the fact that I noted my experience was less then satisfactory. So to make it clear to the reader here I had 1800 feet of wire fence to be put up. All brush and old fencing materials was removed and ground graded. So my complaint isn’t about the bid variance ($4.00 a foot versus $10.00 a foot), but how YELP handled the review. I will never use YELP again.

Yelp gives 5-Star Rating to company whose owner harasses and intimidates African-Americans.

Yelp! refuses to factor in negative reviews of DLE Contracting (of Clarksville, TN), whose owner Dalton Levi Eatherly regularly livestreams himself harassing random African-Americans in Nashville, TN, and pointing a loaded gun at them when they react. An African-American family who used this company, based on Yelp's 5-star rating, could literally be endangering their lives. Yelp! must be BOYCOTTED, until they value the lives of people of color as much as the "free speech" of racist contractors.

This is the worst service I have ever dealt with. All they want is your money. They have aggressive marketing, they were calling me nonstop during the first months trying to sell their useless services. I regret that I ever signed up here. I didn’t even use this platform, and after a few months I logged in and saw a 1-star review on my company SAM Service LLC. The person claimed they worked with me and that I replaced their furnace, but I have no idea who that is. I checked my records and found no proof that I ever worked with this client, this could easily be a fake review from competitors.
