I’ve just spent most of two weeks trying to find a property to buy in Gainsborough via many estate agents and DDM stood out as a very organised, professional but personable estate agent. My friend (who helped me in my search) and I concluded that if we ever wanted to sell a property we would use DDM because I bought a property via them and the whole process was very smooth. If you want to sell a property go to DDM.

I have had a really good experience with DDM for the sale of my residential property. Given that I no longer live in the area, it was helpful for them to facilitate viewings and their regular communication with updates was incredibly good. I mainly dealt with Gill and Emily. Overall DDM performed well. Always available to talk through issues that arose as the sale progressed. They provided an honest valuation with good explanations of where the pricing bracket comes from in comparison across the area. They also did a lot of chasing on our behalf which we was very grateful for. As usual, it’s the solicitors that were poor which makes everyone’s job difficult. Thanks again all at DDM and apologies the review is a little delayed

Really good service, first viewing and we had a buyer, this possibly down to the superb photos and video supplied, and great customer service from especially from Fiona who was always on the phone to me to keep me informed every step of the way, and she must have got really fed up with me keep phoning to see what was happening at the end of the process. We recently sold our house in Grasscroft via Ryder and Dutton, September 2021. The process ran really smoothly, dealing with James Ebdon and Jenny Boyle was a pleasure and always within easy reach via phone or email. House was sold within 5 days, above asking price and went through without issues and any queries dealt with professionally. This is the second good experience using Ryder and Dutton so I can highly recommend them. I also used the solicitor they recommended for sale and purchase, that was professional and good value too.

Superb service. From the photos that they took (which made our house look even better than we thought it was), to the personal service from Jenny, our experience with Ryder & Dutton was such a positive one. The sale happened on practically the first day it went on the market, but Jenny was great in chasing progress from the buyer and keeping us informed all the way through. I’m sure the sale happened quicker because of her input. I’d highly recommend them to any friends and family. Great service.

We chose Ryder and Dutton (Uppermill) and in particular their Sales Negotiator, Adam Yates, was brilliant in conducting affairs. Always promptly keeping us updated, in the picture and at times unprompted too. I highly recommend Ryder and Dutton and Adam in particular was super-efficient in the whole process from marketing, organizing viewings etc. Great service!

Thanks to all at the Uppermill office who gave a fantastic service from start to finish. James gave our property a thorough look before giving good advice and a good valuation. Anne went that extra mile when taking the photos, calling on a sunny day to get the best exterior shots then returning and taking lovely interior photos showing the house off to best effect. Simon initially, and then Jenny towards completion, kept us well informed and definitely helped to keep us well updated and things moving as the solicitors seemed to go to sleep !!! Was told sale was agreed. I cancelled other viewings. Was hassled into paying solicitors fees to get ball rolling. As soon as I did sale fell through as a higher offer Was received so wasted money . If they hadn't hassled I wouldn't have paid solicitors fees so quick and not lost money so won't go near again now

However, it’s important to be aware that the auction process often requires a financial commitment prior to the exchange of contracts and may not be suitable in all cases. With private treaty sales in England, unfortunately, the transaction is not legally binding until contracts are exchanged. That’s why we requested that you instruct a solicitor, it enables us to issue the memorandum of sale and initiate the legal process. Without this step, the purchase cannot progress towards a binding agreement. I completely understand that your comments came from a place of disappointment. I hope, in time, you’ll see that DDM Residential acted with professionalism throughout. Should a suitable property become available, we’d be very pleased to support you with your next purchase.
