Sale of Tunbridge Wells home

I would not normally leave 5 star reviews but it's difficult to find fault with the team at Maddisions. The. response time to the initial enquiry was outstanding and for me showed a local company who wanted your business and played to their strengths Vs national estate agent brands , whose structure is to contact you via a centralised appointment booking team 24hrs + later. The suggested going to market strategy was clear and marketed the property immediately rather than suggestions of testing the water that other agents presented and the subsequent presentation of the property video tour were excellent. Advice on how to dress the house , organising block viewings all happened seamlessly . At some key points of the sale progression negotiation. between buyer and seller was guided expertly and to top it off a lovely team of people to deal with. Thanks for the help and in this case local seems best!

Great team who delivered on their commitments

The team at Maddisons delivered on my sale against the backdrop of challenging market conditions. I think their real USP was nursing both buyers and us as sellers through a difficult process. Fantastic agency - highly recommended

We sold our flat through Maddisons in 2017 after being so impressed with them whilst viewing other houses in Tunbridge Wells. They were all incredibly knowledgeable about the properties we saw and were so warm and welcoming that we felt like we were being shown around by old friends. They really were the most un-estate-agent-like estate agents we have met. We approached Maddisons with a 12 week time limit to sell our flat and they got to work straight away. They took great care in helping us dress the flat for photos, and rather than just snapping a few clumsy shots with a phone, organised a professional photographer who did a fantastic job. As we were pressed for time, they cleverly pitched the property at a sensible price to get people through the door, and thanks to their professional viewing style we had several offers at the asking price within the first week so ended up going to sealed bids and achieving rather more than we had expected. They expertly guided us through the entire process and continually updated us on the progress being made. The service provided by Maddisons is excellent value for money, and whether you are selling a little flat like ours, or a mansion, they will go to great lengths to ensure you have the best possible experience. Maddisons provided a refreshing approach and excellent attentive service

From the start Deborah Richards and her very competent team at Maddisons showed the enthusiasm and ability that we were looking for when we put our family home of twenty seven years on the market last May. There was a creative approach to fees followed by very good service in preparing the website entries and brochures which did the best possible job in presenting the house to prospective buyers. Maddisions put us in the position of being able to accept a good offer in June and the high level of service then continued right through the selling process with regular updates and follow up with solicitors acting for sellers in the 'chain' that developed. Professional and excellent thru and thru

Fabulous service - can't recommend highly enough!

We are so pleased we chose Maddisons to sell our house. Right from Deborah's initial visit, where she not only valued the property, but also gave us lots of advice and tips on making the most of the house; to the beautifully produced particulars that blow the competition out of the water, to their amazing customer service, everything about Maddisons' goes that little bit (or rather, a lot!) further than any of the others. The team were all fantastic, everyone knew what was going on with our viewings, sales etc, rather than the agent who we bought from, where it was 1 person, and they never seemed to be there! Nothing was too much trouble, quite often we phoned to ask for something, and it had already been done! I thoroughly recommend them to all I meet, and wouldn't hesitate to use again. The difference? Maddison's maximise the sales opportunity of every viewing.

Maddison's take a much more "end-to-end" approach to selling a house than other agents I've experienced. I.e. They oversee and involve themselves in every step of the process - from telling you in plain English exactly what you need to do to your house to make it more appealing to prospective purchasers, right through to following up on queries your buyers may have with their new home after they've moved in. Of course they are professional, friendly and efficient. The big difference though comes when they conduct viewings of your property. There is no "Viewing team" comprised of part-timers who only work weekends and may only have seen your property for the first time 15 minutes prior to the viewers arriving. Instead owners are banished from the house and the agent handling your sale personally conducts the viewing. The agent not only knows your house inside out but seizes the opportunity to proactively sell the benefits of it to viewers in a way that the owner could never do. Verbal feedback comes immediately after the viewers have left, with written follow-up a day or so later. Add into this, the fact that Maddison's fees are very competitive and really you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by giving them a try. I cannot recommend Deborah and her team highly enough.

A friendly high performing team

Our experience of working with the team at Maddisons has been a very positive one. They gave us some great advice and support through the whole process of selling our house. Outstanding service from beginning to completion

The service provided by Deborah and her team far and away exceeded our expectations and we are delighted we chose them as our selling agent. Three days later we were under offer for over the asking price which blew us away.
