GoogleAfter unsuccessfully trying to sell a property with another nearby Truro estate agents I turned to Stags. The difference was night and day, a thoroughly professional approach, excellent communication , regular updates and a refreshingly honest assessment of market conditions without all of the sales waffle. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks to Ian, Wayne, Dee and the rest of the staff for all of their hard work.

GoogleStags recently completed the sale of our home. I could not praise the team at Stags enough for the way the sale was handled. We needed to sell quickly to be able to buy a house we desired, we have achieved this but not without the professionalism and commitment from all involved at Stags. Nick Welch and his team really went the extra mile to accommodate the fact that I live 250 miles away from the property we were purchasing, were always on hand to help with queries and were really proactive to keep the transaction on track and both parties happy. i couldn't rate them highly enough and would certainly recommend.

GoogleA little belated but nonetheless a worthy review. Having bought with Stags I find them to be highly professional throughout the process. During my searches they were very patient as I had very specific requirements and they went far beyond the call of duty to find me my beautiful home. They understood completely what I was looking for and where to suit my needs for schools etc. Then without prompting they proactively called me when they had a new property to launch which frankly I would have missed during my busy schedule at the time and I am so glad they did. They made negotiation simple and I understood the sellers position and stance and they helped me via their honest and transparent approach to sales. Once my offer was accepted they kept me informed all of the way through the process and ensured a timely and smooth purchase. I can not thank the team at Stags enough for their help, guidance and support. Should I ever have to sell my wonderful home I would have no hesitation in using Stags.

GoogleWe have just sold our house in Cornwall through Stags and are very happy with the service we received. They have good service and an excellent presence in the mid- to high price bracket in the South-West. We had made the mistake of thinking that old-fashioned estate agents' branding and hand-holding had become outdated and it didn't matter which agent you used as long as they were on one of the major Web property portals. Wrong. Buyer still gravitate towards agents with a good portfolio of properties in the areas they want, the price bracket they want and the kind of home they want. And good service matters, too. We were selling at a time when few people were making major financial decisions amid Brexit uncertainty. Our purchasers had a real struggle obtaining a mortgage because banks are still so risk-averse, a decade after the subprime crisis struck. But Stags did a good job of keeping all sides informed and making sure the deal didn't founder on the reefs of misunderstanding and mistrust. Full marks to Ben and Liz.

GoogleI had my house for sale with Stags for months before removing it to an alternative agent. The Sales Valuer should have been called the Sales Overvaluer. She was so over confident in her value. I spoke to the manager but he wasn't open to discussion, just defending her and having read the reviews it seems that he defends his staff rather than customers opinions which is my experience. It should be noted that there are a lot of staff that come and go. If you speak to the same person twice before they leave, you are lucky. I wasted a lot of time with them and have removed my property to a more 'down to earth' agent. Relying on tweed jackets with leather elbow patches is a ridiculous way to conduct themselves.

GoogleFrom our meeting with Nick Welch, we were impressed by his professionalism and approach to marketing with a view to getting the best price for the property. The result was that a price was acheived well in excess of our expectations. This was followed up by monitoring progress with solicitors so that the sale went through smoothly. He even helped to aply pressure on the solicitors acting for the owners of the house we were buying - way beyond the call off duty! We would recommend Stags to anyone seeking a professional aproach and support throughout the process.

GoogleIf it was possible to rate STAGS TRURO ZERO stars then I absolutely would! Shocking service on every conceivable level. Having dealt with many estate agencies I have always been treated ..and treated outhers with the greatest respect! it doesn't surprise me that this shop is due for closure. With such awful attitudes and blatant ignorence it will be very good to see it go.
I am afraid that we have no record of you contacting the Truro Office and your comment about an office closure indicates that you may have mistakenly left this post against Stags, Stags Truro Office is thriving and expanding. I believe this to be a spurious review however I invite you to contact me directly if you have an issue that requires addressing. Ben Stephens
