GooglePoor at information sharing the true factual background nature of a sale , and exceedingly rude and condescending if you are a buyer trying to ascertain the background issues to proceed, which they negligently forgot to tell you about. for sure Caveat Emptor applies when dealing with this bunch of sales folk!

GoogleThis was not the easiest of house sales and we had ups and downs which went on for about 18months or more. During that time we took a lot of advice from Mark and we are very glad we did. His knowledge and experience of the market gave us just the help we needed. I do not see how an online company without that specialist expertise could possibly have advised us the way Mark did and that is of much greater benefit than any saved cost. GoogleLillicrap Chilcott are the Platinum standard of Estate Agency, not only did their Dominic Skerry value our home 100% accurately, achieving the full asking price, his very able team gave immediate feedback and marketed our home with consummate professionalism, carrying out all the viewings - no mean feat when their office is about 30 miles from us, and only sent strong buyers who had already sold their own property, or who were in rented accommodation - so no chains to get bogged down with. Sales Negotiator Janice progressed the sale to exchange of contracts, the whole process from launch to exchange took only 12 weeks, which given the traditionally slower winter months was very impressive. If you're really serious about selling your home in Cornwall, then instruct no other Agent - there may be lower commission rates offered, but you only get what you pay for and LC do get results at the best price.

Very well done to all of you as the interest hit the desks of others and want to say they played a great role too. I can’t recommend them enough , like others have said , they are THE estate agent for buyer and sellers in Cornwall. They are extremely knowledgeable about the area and their service is second to none.

GoogleI was impressed by Lillicrap Chilcott's professionalism from start to finish. The organisation is structured really well so that I knew who I was dealing with at different stages in my sale. All members of the team were efficient, dealt effectively with setbacks to the sale, and remained calm and polite at all times. Their marketing information was great and they were proactive at getting views even over the New Year period. Helpful and clear feedback after each viewing. I felt my house was in safe hands.

They were always efficient, helpful and transparent with us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other purchasers. Tommy in particular at the Truro office was instrumental in getting our purchase over the line in a timely manner, which we much appreciated.

FacebookFantastic service, instant responses to my emails/phone calls an uncanny ability to match the right buyer to our property and VERY accurate valuation to achieve the best price. Not the cheapest Agent on the block, but certainly earn their fee. Would recommend them 110%, use others at your peril!

FacebookAvoid Lillicrap Chilcott like the plague - unless you like being gazumped and deceived. We regret the day we tried to purchase a St Ives property through Lillicrap Chilcott and Director, Dominic Skerry - awful estate agency, with very low morals. Avoid at all costs. Update Sept 2020: We were so dissatisfied with the terrible customer service we received from Lillicrap Chilcott that we complained to The Property Ombudsman. The Property Ombudsman investigated our case, found LC could/should have managed the situation better, and fined Lillicrap Chilcott a small sum. The moral victory was far more important to us than the financial “award”/fine.

FacebookWe contacted LC during our search for a property but at the time they couldn't help. But, they kept in touch when they thought they might have something; and even when they didn't to ask how our search was going. Today another courtesy call to see how we are getting on and as it happens we have just taken the keys for a house and will begin work on it next week. They were as pleased for us as we are for ourselves. Anyone selling though LC can be sure that potential buyers are incredibly well looked after. If we decide to sell, we shall be in touch.
