I'm a prospective buyer with my house on offer and a decision in principle agreed. Tried to view an empty property. Firstly they never picked up the email so I had to chase via the phone. Then they could not arrange a viewing for 5 days. As a result I move on with my search. I'm pleased that this company never had to manage the sale of my home.

Rented with Dale & Collins for about 2 years. Friendly staff, who don’t rip you off. We got our full deposit back at the end of our tenancy and there were no hidden fees. When they came for ‘inspections’ it felt more like a mate coming round for a cuppa. Cannot complain!

They are such a friendly estate and letting agent, the staff go that extra mile to help with any questions or problems. My house is currently on the market with them and I failed to move a couple of items out of a room when they took the photos. I mentioned this and they arranged to come back out at my convenience to do more photos at no cost. My step dad and neighbour recently put their houses on the market through Dale and Collins and both went immediately. If you are thinking of selling, buying or letting I couldn't recommend a better company.

I would recommend Dale and Collins because of their work ethic, standards and service. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always there to help with any queries or comments. Jackie and Tracy have been wonderful supporting me as a tenant and treating me as a person not just a number. The last year has been tough for everyone but I have felt reassured throughout and the team have been amazing. This agency provides a professional yet personal service which is hard to come by. WARNING!!! A Warning to anyone that is thinking to rent through this Estate Agents. This is the worst Estate Agents I have ever dealt with and they have certainly put me off ever renting again!! You're probably thinking that they can't be that bad surely so here are just a few things that we experienced whilst being tenants with them. The first thing was that they came round to do an inspection after me having a baby. I was suffering with postnatal depression and was having a bit of a rough time. I decided I couldn't face anyone so I went to my mums with our baby girl. The "lovely" Jackie came round to do the inspection and decided that she would spend the whole time slagging me off to my partner and when asked what we had called our baby girl, she replied with "who came up with that". I was so upset and hurt that someone could be so rude. The next thing that accrued was they wanted to have someone round to do a mortgage valuation. We rang the company that had asked us to ring them to arrange a day and time. When we rang them, Dale & Collins had gone behind our backs and booked us in (without even telling us). Unfortunately my partner was going to be asleep during the day they had booked as he works nights so we asked to rearrange. Dale and Collins reply was that they were going to let themseves into the property and "they had to have access". After many arguments over that we EVENTUALLY managed to rearrange to suit us. & then the last but certainly not least thing was more shocking than anything we ever could of thought. We had finally been able to give in our notice and were so excited to be finally moving. Two weeks before leaving the property, I was at home alone with our little girl and when standing in the kitchen I saw a man walking past the kitchen door that led to the back garden. I froze and checked the CCTV that we had put up out the front and back of the property. They had walked down the drive, looked through our windows, looking very suspicious and then must of spotted me in the kitchen before walking off. I rang my partner and my mum to let them know what I had seen. I then contacted the police and they told me that they would send someone round. I then contacted a local Stone Facebook group and sent them the cctv footage of the two men that were seen walking around our house to make them aware. That night was horrible, we didn't sleep a wink. I was scared that they would come back. The next day, after thousands of shares and comments. I came across one comment that had led us to believe that this was all down to Dale and Collins. What had actually happened was, Dale and Collins and got in touch with these two men to let them know that we had moved out and to go and check the property out. When we contacted Dale and Collins to confront them about it, their reply was that we were being dramatic. On top of all that, they were rubbish at getting any of the problems that accrued while we were in the property and most of the problems hadn't been resolved in the 18 months that we were there. There are many other things that I could mention but I am sure that what I have wrote is enough to put anyone off. RENT AT YOUR PERIL!!!!!!!!

This is an estate agent that cost me…

This is an estate agent that cost me hundreds of pounds in bills. When the buyer eventually moved in to the property in June 2020 I spoke to him and this is what he told me. He asked to view the property in October/November 2019 but was told that the property was sold subject to contract and was refused a chance to view because of that, the person that was buying the property then backed December 2019/January 2020. If the company allowed the eventual buyer of the property was allowed the viewing I would have had a back up and the property could have sold a lot sooner On one occasion even refused an offer without asking me. Finding this information out I am totally degasified and am now thinking of seeking advice from the ombudsman. They do not seem to realise that a property is not sold till it is sold.

Our experience with Dale and Collins has been a positive one throughout. We actually bought our house through them a couple of years ago and everything was carried out in a very efficient and professional manner, whilst maintaining good communication with ourselves and all involved parties throughout the whole process to ensure that it was as stress free and straight forward as possible. We have recently had to sell through a change of circumstances and decided that we wanted to use Dale and Collins again as our first experience was so positive. The house sold quickly and once again, the staff at Dale and Collins were polite , informative and professional throughout the process . I would recommend them to anyone that is planning to buy or sell their property.
