Absolutely appalled by Dale and Collins…

Absolutely appalled by Dale and Collins Estate Agents. I had two property viewings arranged today and received no confirmation about any cancellations. When I called to check, I was casually told that both viewings had already gone ahead, after I had taken a day off work to attend. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of respect and communication. I would strongly caution anyone considering using their services.

Well what can I say!!!! Truly amazing support from start to finish. We purchased a property through Dale And Collins and everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and genuinely lovely, especially Jackie, Clare and Lauren! From viewing to negotiations and purchase, they were there to guide us through every step of the way. We even had assistance from them regarding the sale of our property, which we were selling through another estate agent. First time using Dale and Collins and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. With each contact I was met with politeness and assistance which was refreshing and needed whilst selling a house and moving in to new accommodation. All the staff here at Dale and Collins are just so fabulous, they go above and beyond to help you with your application and move in process! They even get in touch with all the utility people for you, so letters from council tax, water, gas and electric come straight to your door in your name which I thought was fantastic service! as for me and most it’s a nightmare ringing round everyone when you’re moving house, They are also amazing at sorting anything out for you, for example I didn’t know when my bin day was or I didn’t have a key to the gate to put the bin out and this was sorted straight away, Thank you so much for all the help and support when I moved in, I’m very happy and would recommend you all to anyone Your a Professional and friendly team who are brilliant at their job and made me feel very at ease and comfortable throughout my moving process, it’s the best house move I have ever experienced, I will be telling everyone about you all as you totally deserve the recognition for your hard work and time you put in Best wishes Laura

Not helpful at all with return of deposit at the end of tenancy. Biased and sided with landlord. Unfortunately we didnt have pictures of the property when we moved in so couldn't claim , but wouldn't recommend them as all during the tenancy time we were told that the ' house is kept in best condition ' when visited by them and suddenly' house is extremely dirty and landlord has very high standards' when we asked for as to why 50% depostis being cut down just for cleaning , no damage whatsoever. Didnt even provide with receipt from cleaners. Very disappointed as 50% of our deposit was kept unfairly.

I purchased through Dale and Collins so there were no financial ramifications. They helpfully found me a surveyor to carry out a home buyer's survey and local gas and electricity testing companies to carry out the safety tests recommended. They knew who I was when I phoned up with one query or another and always endeavoured to get me a response from the vendors in a timely manner. The lady I spoke to most frequently was pleasant and always helpful - you could hear the smile in her voice. When you are purchasing from a hundred miles away it is very helpful to have an ally in the locality!

In the last two years they have been nothing but helpful. They were always on call/email whenever we had any troubles and any issues were dealt with very efficiently. Whenever we had a house visit it wasn't something we dreaded weeks before, but we were looking forward to having what felt like a good friend coming around for a nice chat. We now bought our own house away from Stoke and sadly had to leave D&C, but it was a great experience throughout and we couldn't recommend them enough. If you are looking for an incredibly friendly and helpful estate agent with a family-like feel to it then D&C is definitely right for you! We couldn't have been happier during our time in Stoke. I have been a tenant with the lovely rental team for over 4 and a half year's. First Jackie went above and beyound to get me my dream house. She then was very sensitive and caring when it came to my house been sold and me unfotnatly having to move. I was then passed onto the equaly lovely Tracy. Once again Tracy went above and beyound to find me a home that suited my needs. Also the lovely Clare who has the unfortunate pleasure of looking after me when Tracy isnt around().
