Jackie and her team at Dale & Collins have been dealing with our rental property for several years now. We have always found them to be extremely helpful and professional. We recently had a break in to our property while it was empty and we were away on holiday. Jackie and Tracy (if I remember correctly) both dealt with the initial problem immediately, arranging for replacement windows and informing the police to gain a crime number, taking numerous photos and liaising with the insurance company for us as we were out of the country. We cannot thank them enough for all their support at a very stressful time. From speaking to our tenants I get the impression they are just as good to them also. We would easily feel confident in recommending Dale & Collins to any future landlord. They are extremely good at guiding you through the now very difficult legal stuff! Called asking for some help with renting as I am moving to Stoke and unsure on the process, The woman I spoke to from the rental team was extremely rude and essentially sounded bored of my questions, literally saying to me "you have a LOT of these hypothetical questions". Essentially made me feel like a number, as I wasn't ready to move in yet, I was literally batted away. Considering I am a good renter who is a professional at the NHS, not sure why you would treat people like this. Understand its competitive, but the arrogance that woman displayed on the phone knowing that there are plenty of other people is despicable. Its a shame as I will be ready to buy a property next year, and now will avoid this company at all costs and also inform people I know to avoid it too.

Great experience using Dale & Collins to sell our home. Jackie was brilliant from start to finish, I had several estate agents around for quotes and there was no comparison in terms of enthusiasm and service, with the added benefit that they’re competitively priced. The sale was agreed within 3 days and the marketing strategy worked a treat. We also received great advice on how best to consider the offers based on the buyers residency and financial position and how that would contribute to our goal of a quick sale but getting the best possible price. The transition period and communication was fantastic by Charlotte too and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend using Dale & Collins if you are looking to sell your home. They standout from the rest.

Was a tenant from 2019!!

Been a tenant with Dale and collins since 2019, Tim and Jackie were an absolutely nightmare to deal with, Tim is rude and never believed what you were telling him, I even offered to video call him to prove my drain was flooded, never likely he has left now maybe to get a degree in customer services! Lol! Jackie his wife she is also not great with people, she is rude argues with you when you have problems with the property you are staying in because she is friends with the waste of space landlord who apparently has 15 properties and does nothing with any of them but kept putting up the rent! We had problem after problem but because we didn't always kick up a stink we just had to live in a mold ridden house with a child, we suffered with headaches all the time but they didn't care. But I can safely say in 2024 we moved to our own property and we no longer get headaches, just bills that apparently the landlord doesn't want pay even though we were not in the property at the time. If you are thinking of renting with Dale and collins please don't! Only decent people that actually work at Dale and collins are Tracy and Claire, they are just the best and tell the truth, big shout to them!!!!!

Based on my experience of Dale & Collins, they certainly care more about pleasing the landlord than they do about caring for the individuals renting a property. A person can spend twice the amount a property is worth in rent over the years, yet this letting agent doesn't care if that specific property is riddled with damp and mould. If you have a property to rent out and you don't care about the living condition of your clients? Go with these guys. However, if you want a place to live? Do NOT trust the Stoke-on-Trent branch of this company. They will paint over anything and simply do not care about your home or your financial situation... Unless you're a landlord. Then there's the utterly unprofessional communication from the individuals who work there. There is zero compassion from this company. You deserve better.

My partner and I are moving into a property next week, and the estate agent is Dale and Collins. We have mostly been dealing with Tim, who I honestly cannot praise highly enough. He has done so much for us, and has been so understanding, it hasn't been a plain sailing move, as there have been some issues with verifications and move in dates, and Tim and the team couldn't do enough for us. They have all been so kind, and understanding, and professional, and they have made us feel so welcome and valued as tenants. If you're looking for a home and find one though these guys, you will be in excellent hands, and landlords, if you're looking for an agency to rent/ advertise through, if they treat their landlords the same as their tenants then you will be in excellent hands. I cannot thank the team enough for all they've done for us.

The estate agents as a whole are lovely, because they aren’t a chain you do genuinely get the sense you’re thought about as a person rather than just another house on the market. They regularly checked in and updated me, offering further advice on things where necessary, whilst keeping in mind my personal desires and nothing was too much trouble. BEWARE! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!! My experience with Dale and Collins has unfortunately been quite negative, prompting me to write this review. During my tenancy, I encountered several issues that culminated in what I believe to be an attempt to inappropriately withhold my deposit at the lease's end. Despite regular inspections by a staff member named Jackie, claims of property damage were made only after we moved out. These claims were surprising, especially considering the pre-existing condition of the property when we moved in. The carpet, which had a noticeable odor of animal waste before I moved in, was old and never replaced (I never had pets). Moreover, the quality of the wall paint was so poor that it stained our clothes upon contact, a clear indication that the property was not adequately maintained. Furthermore, the overall safety of the property was a concern, particularly for children. This aspect was particularly distressing, considering we were new tenants in the UK and felt taken advantage of in our unfamiliar situation. To add to our grievances, after our tenancy ended, Dale and Collins sought to extend the lease, citing a questionable clause related to a guarantor, which appeared to us as a dubious and unjustified move. In summary, our experience with Dale and Collins was marred by unprofessional conduct and what seemed to be unfair treatment, particularly regarding the handling of our deposit and the property's condition. I would advice anyone to be mindful of this agency before doing business with them.
