TrustpilotTaryck was excellent, Springbok no
Taryck has been really good and I have no complaints with him. He was always available and has been very helpful, however, I am a bit disappointed with Springbok and how the sale of our house went. We decided to agree on a sale price of 250k because we needed a specific date. We were told again and again that it would not be a problem. If we did not need a date we would've gone the normal way and would've have more money for our house (springbok sold our house for 272k, which is 22k extra for them). Now, we are finally completing 16 days later on the agreed date. This delay has cost us £10k and a lot of stress as it meant we almost lost the chance of buying our next home. So I am very disappointed...

Dear Lara, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your view with us, as it can help us to improve, which we continuously look to do. We were sorry to learn that your sale did not complete until 16 days later than the originally agreed date; unfortunately, this was an unforeseen circumstance (which is typical in property transactions) that was out of our control and related to the purchaser's finance. We would like to clarify that we have not charged you £10,000 and are unsure of what this figure is in relation to. I can see that in reference to the unexpected delay, we did agree to cover roughly £400 worth of legal costs that would lay outside of what we would normally cover as part of your agreement. We do go to efforts to ensure that our customers are satisfied during an experience with us, and we are disappointed to learn that overall you were left dissatisfied following your transaction. We would like to wish you all the best and thank you once again for your feedback. Best regards, Springbok Customer Services

TrustpilotThis company are so poor it is…
This company are so poor it is difficult to believe they are still operating, they will say and do anything to make you sign up and then try to get you to accept ridiculously low price. There is no way you will sell quickly, no faster than a conventional agent. They say they have a pool of private buyers and then continuously harrass you to lower the price. None of the people who came round had any money or any intention of purchasing the house. Do not under any circumstances sign a contract with these scammers

TrustpilotSpringbok did what it said on the tin
Springbok Properties made the full journey easy and free from complications. With good advice in the early part of the sale journey through to listing. At this point, our negotiator, Haden Donovan, called to clarify what we were looking to seek from the sale process and then kept us fully informed through to achieving a quick sale.We have achieved what we wanted and Haden was instrumental in this process. Our appreciation also to Callum Clarke, our first contact with Springbok.

TrustpilotSo far very good
So far very good. Our property languished on the market for 6 months without a single viewing, then when we moved to Springbok we had 3 viewings in the first week. We now have a seller, and papers are with our solicitors. Everyone at Springbok has been first rate, and have always done what they said they would do, particular thanks to Joanne Hooson our sales negotiator. As long as you're realistic about the price you want for your property - Springbok is a quick sale specialist, so you will sell for lower than a high street estate agent, and spend some time read through the Ts and Cs so you know exactly what the agreement is, this could be a great way for you to sell your property.

As a first time buyer I was apprehensive about some online reviews and I must say a little confused but both Mason and Becci helped me along. I was apprehensive about the security deposit but Mason did his best to accommodate my queries and alleviate concerns.Becci was fantastic in chasing both parties and making sure things moved forward at a reasonable rate - quick to answer questions I was pleased with the way things progressed. Thanks guys!

TrustpilotOutstanding care for clients and an excellent service
I had a very long and bumpy experience selling my property for reasons unrelated to Springbok. Annie Wood however, was a shining light of hope through the process. Annie went over and beyond in chasing up, advising and keeping me up to date. It is very clear that Annie cares deeply about her work and does her absolute best for clients. Keeping in touch had additionally challenges as I live overseas but this wasn't a problem for Annie and the team. I'd highly recommend taking a company panel solicitor. In hindsight, I wish I had done this from the start. I tried to keep my original solicitor and this was a mistake as it prolonged the journey to completion.

TrustpilotGreat for quick, hassle free property sales
I have dealt with with many agents over the years for rentals, buying and selling properties and after getting terrible service from a big estate agent that are very popular in the S63 area of South Yorkshire I decided to try Springbok. The other agent was not only awful but when they had my property on the market, at the same price as Springbok, I did not get a single viewing. In addition I had so many things to organise to take to their office, in terms of paperwork etc, which they subsequently lost along with the keys to my property. I was lucky I had a spare key. I was worried about this when I signed the contract with Springbok but I was told not to worry as they could still proceed with the sale after l had left the previous agent. I was surprised at how simple it was to start the viewing process. I was allocated a set negotiator, Marc went over everything in a simple, clear and concise manner. He answered all my questions and went through the contract with me before I signed. This was unlike the other agent that got a quick signature and I did not even realise I signed for them to select my conveyancing solicitor who then bombarded me with texts and emails when I already had a solicitor arranged. This is where Springbok is different as they organise everything, which does not come out of your agreed sale price, including the conveyancing. There is only one thing that is a downside to using Springbok and that is you would get below market value for your property. You have to weigh up the pros and cons. I got a buyer within the month the viewings started and the buyer had to pay a deposit to secure the property so buyers are unlikely to pull out. As sellers do not pay for conveyance, you will not be left with a bill, if something unexpected happens and a buyer does pull out at the last minute (this happened to me in the past) so you are agreeing a lower price, for less stress and an easy, quick process. I could have gone for the market value but losing more in waiting for months, worrying about an empty property and accumulating bills as Barnsley Council charge full Council Tax for empty properties awaiting a sale. I was offered a guarantee, quick sale at a fixed (slightly lower) price. My property sale has not completed yet but we are nearly there, in less than two months. I need to agree an exchange/completion date. Marc made everything so easy and the rest of his team have all done a splendid job so far. I told my friend and he said he was interested in using Springbok and asking if he could work with Marc. I am not surprised that Marc is always busy when you call him but he is still very quick in getting back to you when you leave a message and he is so patient, amazing. 👏

TrustpilotThird review ...
Read the small print: don't believe what you're told. They will tell you what you want to hear. There is no 'Second Level Investor Group' waiting to buy your property. The FIXED PRICE option is only Fixed for them, not you! If you refuse their lower offer & sell somewhere else at normal market value but above the Fixed Price - they will take anything above the Agreed Fixed Price you signed for...or £7,000 whichever is the greater. Yes, really, £7,000. It's there, in the Contract they ask you to sign! I cancelled my contract...but I still have it available for inspection. They keep removing my reviews - which have been approved by Trustpilot as 'within their guidelines'. This is my third review; I am 80 years old & have plenty of time to keep writing until they stop their immoral methods! Please accept my apologies for using the jargon phrase 'small print'. The contract details come under:CONSEQUENCES OF BREACH/ MINIMUM OPTION FEE AND TERMINATION : this applies when they can't sell your house above the agreed FIXED PRICE to make their profit. They come back with a reduced price offer. You refuse this reduced offer & sell your house at Market Value. Then they are legally entitled to anything above the FIXED PRICE you signed for - or £7,000, whichever is greater! Please be aware!Springbok have been hounding both myself and my son re these reviews; they are unable to contact me now as I have blocked all their numbers!Edited again 28th July: they are right…what they are doing is NOT ILLEGAL as YOU have signed the contract. It IS MIS-LEADING & IMMORAL so please avoid them!

Dear Gail, thank you for your ongoing feedback. Please be advised that none of your reviews are removed and we have no control over reviews being removed at all. You may search your name on our platform and your reviews will be visible. We would like to again clarify, as stated in our earlier responses: It seems that there may be some misunderstandings around the clause we think you're referring to which relates to our remuneration should a seller cease our services and then go on to sell to a buyer who we had previously introduced. This is extremely common in the property sales field and such a structure is industry standard - You will find that most if not all property sale businesses or estate agents have structures like this one to protect their business from the rare % of customers who privately complete a transaction after ceasing services. In regards to your agreement, you are correct in that we would naturally discuss a new price with you if the anticipated value was not met, as with any property sale negotiation, and the agreement that you have was completely free of any selling fees, which is all included in the contract in clear and plain wording. There is no small print in our contracts, and the fixed price agreement can result in a situation where further negotiation may occur - This is reinforcing that the contract is not a guarantee of sale. You are correct in saying that the remuneration amount would be the difference in this contract, or £7,000, if we have fulfilled a sale with a buyer that was introduced via us. This acts as the "selling fee" in the absence of the original agreement, where a selling fee is not incurred. This would only be enforced if as advised, a seller were to cease our services and then go on to engage in a transaction with a buyer we had introduced to the property, as is the case with most if not all estate agents or property sale companies in the UK. We have tried to make contact with you to discuss your concerns. We would like to provide assurance that we follow the Property Ombudsman's Code of Practice, recognised and approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. We are also members of the National Property Buyers Association. We do hope that this goes some way in offering clarification on the matters raised. Best regards, Springbok Customer Services

TrustpilotContract cancelled in 3 days.
Contract cancelled in 3 days. There is no bank of Property Investors. The 'Fixed Price' is only 'fixed' for them not you. They promise No Fees but their 'small print' says if YOU sell your house to someone else they will take anything above the Fixed Price you agreed to...or £7,000 whichever is greater. Yes, really! It's in their contract. They flagged my original review; it was checked by Trustpilot and deemed 'within their guidelines' & reinstated but it's disappeared.I wrote it 6 days ago ( today's date 23/07/24) so it should be showing in the 'last 30 days' filter but it's not. Springbok has been hounding me and my son with phone calls since I wrote the original review. I will keep writing reviews until something is done about their misleading claims and immoral behaviour. PLEASE DO NOT USE...YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. I wish the Independent Review Agency would look into their methods of operating.

Having engaged Springbox Properties during last month, I can honestly say their service has been 100%.Every member of their dedicated and indeed professional team, have all played their separate rolls in bringing the sale of my house to a conclusion. In particular I was more than impressed with my negotiator Charlotte. Who had more than 8 clients to share the potential of my home. And from the feedback I received on a regular basis, all the clients showed great interest in the property. This surely shows the professionalism of a good negotiator. On this alone I would definitly recommend Springbox Properties to anyone looking to sell their property without the usual stress of Estate agents.

We had a positive experience overall in purchasing our property. Once we had our offer accepted, the support team were readily available to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Our biggest concern was in the early stages when we were contacted by the company to ask if we would like to enter an exclusivity agreement. This consisted of strict terms and conditions as well as a cost of approximately £500, which overall didn’t appeal to us and caused a bit of confusion and doubt over the process. The experience with Bethan was positive and she made herself readily available to us to support us in the process and ultimately made us feel comfortable during the house-buying process. TrustpilotDO NOT ALLOW THEM TO BULLY YOU INTO PAYING THE £2500 DEPOSIT AND £400 FEE!
I give this company 3 stars. At the start of our experience with Springbok, I would’ve given them one star, and that is being generous. However, once our offer had been accepted we were passed onto a different member of springbok who was fantastic, our experience was much better. Our initial experience- I found a house on Zoopla that I was interested in viewing, when booking the viewing over the phone I asked if someone would be available to answer a few questions regarding the property (I made the call on the Wednesday and the viewing was booked for the Saturday) I was told that I would receive a phone call from someone to answer my questions within 4-6 hours. I never received this phone call. I called again on the Thursday and was told the same thing again, and again no phone call, the same thing again on the Friday. We went to the viewing on the Saturday without ever receiving this phone call. My partner and I fell in love with the house and wanted to put an offer down straight away. I called Springbok to let them know, to be told we would have to wait 6 hours for a phone call to speak with someone to discuss our offer. We then finally received this phone call to be told we would have to wait until the Monday to put in our offer- you would think the offer would be put forward straight away!Monday comes- no phone call. After calling to ask if we could put in our offer as discussed, I then received a phone call from a gentleman called Marc. Never in my life have I ever spoken to such a condescending man, with complete disrespect for women. (I say this as after dealing with Marc for a while I asked my partner, male, to speak with him as I’d had enough). Marc’s attitude completely changed when speaking to my partner.Initially I wanted to discuss with Marc the £2500 deposit they expect you to put down before any contracts are signed and the additional £396 fee. I spoke with 2 brokers and a solicitor who both advised to not pay these fees as if the mortgage fell through (due to something out of our control) or other life circumstances that could arise that would mean we had to pull out, we would then not be refunded this money. I called Marc back to explain that we would not pay the fees as we were prepared to be gazumped as this can happen with all estate agents. His attitude towards me was absolutely disgusting, he told me to stop talking and continually interrupted me with patronising comments. I explained as our savings were in help to buy ISA’s, taking that deposit money out would mean losing 25% interest. His response was again patronising and rude. It was then accepted that we wouldn’t pay these fees, they are not compulsory so don’t let them bully you into thinking they are.Our first offer was rejected, as was our second. Marc then asked if we would increase our offer by £2000 so it could cover the costs of the sellers estate agent fees. Since when is it normal practice for the buyer to pay the seller’s estate agent fees? After explaining that we absolutely would not do this as we were already offering 12 thousand over asking price, Marc said he would go back to the seller and see if they would accept our offer if he dropped the estate agent fees. Yet 5 minutes before he would have been happy for us to add an extra £2000 onto the offer to cover those fees. Absolute scammers.Eventually an offer was accepted and we were passed onto Taryck Turner. Taryck was absolutely fantastic. He was thorough, answered the very many questions we had, and always ensured to keep us up to date with any correspondence regarding the many enquiries being carried out on the property. Taryck went above and beyond for myself and my partner and we were really grateful for all of his help. He was kind, patient and brilliant at his job, it’s a shame the same can’t be said for other members of staff. I cannot give Springbok 5 stars, but I would certainly give Taryck 5 stars.
