From the moment I first called HS Owen to invite them out for a valuation, I knew that this was the agency that I was going to chose to sell my property. Estate agents like this one put no effort into making the experience better and easier for those looking for houses. A quick look at a few of their listed properties on Zoopla shows they only bother to put measurements in feet and inches (hello? most of us use metres - use BOTH measurements), and also when you zoom in on their floorpans, they're really blurry. I'm sorry, but that does not inspire confidence in buyers. It makes it look like you're run by boomers, happy to take all the fees, but not prepared to put in the actual work to deserve those fees. By the way, if I see a floor plan with no measurements in metres, it's immediately ignored. If you can't get the basics right, how can people trust you to get anything else right? Stop treating potential buyers with such contempt. Put in the effort, show decent quality zoomable floor plans with measurements in both feet and metres, and then, you'll be doing the absolute bare acceptable minimum. Unlike now. And in case anyone wants to say 'it's not us that does the floorpan, it's someone else', then ok, get a 'someone else' that knows how to do floorpans. If you can't even choose a floorplan provider correctly, why should you be trusted with anything else? This is basic stuff, come on.

Hannah, Sam, Lewis and Carly at HS Owen were fantastic from start to finish. Friendly and professional and proactive and fast to reply. From the moment we contacted Hannah to value our property they were amazing, the quality of their photos and brochures is great and our house was listed for sale later the same day which is exactly what we wanted. We had several offers and viewings within a very short time and sold within 6 days of being on the market. We also told Hannah our favourite road we wanted to buy on and just a day after selling ours Hannah showed us our dream home and I’m thrilled to say this is now our home. HS Owen gave a fair valuation of our property and gave us no false illusions of what price we could achieve. They found a buyer for our property within a couple of weeks of it being marketed. We exchanged and completed in less than 3 months! Unheard of in this day and age; the quickest property sale we have ever had. Sam and Hannah What can I say Well, lots actually! We thought we had the best estate agents in Torbay with the greatest reputation yet they failed miserably so we sacked them then we discovered H S Owen. Sam and Hannah as we got to know them and after all that they did to help Anne and I through the mire and quicksand of selling property. They walked through minefields,overcame eleventh hour pull outs and excuses, deliberate delaying and endless questioning, recognised the time wasters. Yes our masterful duo Supersam and Herohannah rose to meet every obstacle, pulled every frying pan out of the fire and came up with the sale.
