Terrible experience renting a house through Parkers tilehurst. Repairs not carried out in a timely manner, rude staff in their lettings team. No responsibility taken for tenants health and safety it’s all about protecting the landlords. Be wary when renting a property through Parkers and check who the landlord is if it is managed by them. Also put everything in writing if you do rent thought them. Anything verbal will be lied about and told it didn’t happen. Finally 3 years of stress, grief and upset is now over since we’ve moved away from Parkers!

We have recently moved into a property let by Parker’s Tilehurst after our previous landlord decided to sell. Our circumstances were not the most straightforward, however Parker’s have been brilliant! Very understanding and helpful and a lovely team to deal with. There have been a couple of issues in the property on moving in and those have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. During what has been a stressful few months for us, Jayne and Georgee in particular have made moving into our new home as easy and as smooth as possible and we really appreciate all that they’ve done for us!

I was renting a property through Parkers, and my experience wasn't as great as those who were buying/selling through this agency. The communication is really poor from the property management side. I was not able to get hold of them for days, and even if they started to pick up issues, it took weeks to get even the most simplest thing sorted. They never provide me an update unless I chase them for WEEKS.

Faultless service

Parkers - a really smooth move!

From our initial meeting to value the house and put it on the market up to our exchange of contracts, I cannot speak too highly of the professionalism of the whole team at Parkers. Having met with several other estate agents Parkers were head and shoulders above the rest. They were honest, realistic but also very encouraging and managed to sell the house at the asking price within 8 weeks in a very slow market. Was pleasantly surprised at all the modern technology they used which included a whats app group set up so that all updates were instantly communicated. Following a very demoralising experience trying to sell my house through another agent, when Parkers' card dropped through my letter box I initially binned it. But then I decided to give them a try and the whole process from phoning them to getting a motivated buyer to exchanging contracts took less than 8 weeks.I particularly liked the sensible approach to pricing my property based on local knowledge, the high quality photos and video tour, keeping me in touch at all times through the viewing process via WhatsApp, and then passing the often tricky job of turning an offer into a completed sale over to a specialist within the team.

From the initial consultation they were well informed on the local area, properties on the market we were competing against in the local area and also general market trends. Rather than selling their services on promises of a higher value they were open with feedback and balanced in pricing/selling strategies. The marketing approach and material were slick and professional. While on the market they were very prompt in communicating feedback on viewings and also helping to assess further sales strategies to help sell the property according to our objectives. Good result in a difficult market

I was acting as executor for my late aunt's estate and so had to organise the sale of her bungalow. Having met with several local estate agents we chose Parkers as they seemed to have a very businesslike approach to getting the job done. Not being local we needed someone we could rely on to attract potential buyers, accompany viewings, and operate with minimal face to face contact - which they did. We received regular calls to update us on viewings and viewer feedback. In a difficult market they secured a buyer and proactively monitored the whole sale process to make sure it reached a successful conclusion with minimum delay. We were very pleased with the way Parkers performed.
