FacebookWe sold through Parker’s, just over 2 years ago, it was a difficult process due to the nature of the sale but they got us there and pushed the sale through. We decided to sell again and of course, we chose Parker’s. Needless to say, their advertising and great staff, sold our second home. They really do make you feel like you are the only person they are dealing with and go above and beyond! We are hoping to stay put at the new house but should we decide to move again, we will 100% use Parker’s. Parker’s have been exceptional throughout, from our first meeting with Charlie to the ongoing support and help from Emma, Ellie and Luca. Due to COVID our sale fell through twice, both times Parker’s advised us accordingly and re-sold within a week! The final time we sold on the 20th Jan and have now exchanged and due to complete on 25th Feb thanks to the great work of the team at Parker’s. The communication throughout has been outstanding, we are always well informed and have responses to our queries very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Parker’s to anyone looking to sell or buy a home! Thank you all so much for your help.

GoogleWhat should have been a straightforward purchase turned into one conveyancing nightmare after another but Parkers were keeping things moving and keeping in regular contact. If it were not for Emma George we would would have pulled out of the purchase. I would totally recommend the team at Parkers Tilehurst!!

First time buyers nerves and lack of experience of solicitors, surveys, mortgages etc were no problem to Daniel and his team. I got a great but fair deal on a great house in a market short of stock and Emma ensured it all ran to exchange and ultimate completion very smoothly.

GoogleAbsolutley digraceful agents at the Tilehurst branch and in my opinion not very ethical. Very untrustworthy and cavalier in there approach, awful communication skills and a total absence of empathy. Add rudeness and arrogance into it all and a total unpleasent experience to say the least. I was actually emailed and told by an agent that the asking price was more then shown and that I should bid accordingly. I was also told that I wasn't allowed to make further bids on a property, quote "Lets draw a line in the sand" end quote. A total disregard of respect towards buyers and any pragmatic philosophy they have towards negotiating.
Hi Hussein, Thanks for taking the time to get in touch. We are more often than not very open to genuine feedback and are constantly looking to improve. However, in this instance your review is very wide of the mark and is the sensationalised version of events of someone who just simply didn't get their way. The property in question was clearly marketed at 'Offers in excess of' £525,000, when you made your opening bid well under this it was pointed out that the client would only consider offers in excess of £525,000, as stated. Your insistence to then repeatedly try and increase your offer by tiny amounts - yet still be well under the level that the home owner would consider - eventually brought the quote 'let's draw a line in the sand' because the seller saw that through either not understanding the process or through wilful disregard you were not a realistic buyer for them and didn't wish to continue. Which is their right to do. There is nothing untrustworthy or unethical about this - as you allude to in your 'review' - it is a very normal practice when selling many things, including homes. And our marketing and selling agents were very clear about this also. If your opinion on the price is different then that is your right, however it was made clear after your first offer that the advertised 'offers in excess of' was what the owners would consider. Having read a few of your numerous other reviews of businesses, we can see you either give places 5* or 1* depending on if someone is nice to you. As much as we always want every person who we deal with to be happy, unfortunately not every offer will be deemed acceptable. Most potential buyers understand that is part of the process. I hope you can take on board this feedback and not be so rude to other companies staff in the future. I think that to we can now 'draw a line in the sand' with our relationship and we wish you luck with your search via other estate agents. All the best,

Moving to Parkers from a different estate agents after 5 months of no interest was the best thing we ever did. Parkers are in a different league. We felt looked after from day 1 right through to our moving date. If you’re lucky enough to work with Dan and Emma then you are in very good hands! It’s safe to say our move for various reasons was one of the most stressful times in our lives but not once was that stress caused by anything Parkers did, just a brilliant brilliant team.
