Unique estate agents please avoid at…

Unique estate agents please avoid at all cost, Constantly lied through the process of buying our property which today we had to pull away from 4 days befor ment to move in . 2 weeks before we was meant to move we only found out there was a tenant living in the property which no one told us at all and we were told nothing but lies for the process slow at given in the paperwork to our solicitors. Never return phone calls and only replied to 1 email from our solicitor's. Taking it to the ombudsman and reporting them to the trading standards.

Trying to sell a damp flat and using my deposit to clean it.

Horrible people pretending they don't know about damp issues at 3 fairholmes court, Thornton Cleveleys and trying to sell the property with the damp issues painted over. Do not buy unless you know the back bedroom outside wall has been treated for damp. I was a tenant and just moved because of the problem and they was showing potential buyers while I was still in the property and they never mention it. Open the blinds and look at all the damp around the front window and the damp is all over the bedroom wall which I'm sure they will paint over like when I moved in. They sent 3 contractors to look at the damage and never bothered fixing it. Buy at your own risk. They also have put in a fraudulent claim for cleaning the property and want to take half my deposit I paid. Cleaning will not get rid of damp! The kitchen cupboards have rotted and are falling off the wall which I complained about as soon as I moved in febuary 2019 it's now November 2021 and they haven't done anything about any of the problems and I am asthmatic and could of died! They don't care.

This company is an utter joke. Rang to view a house for let, told I'd be called soon as viewings take place. Rang after hearing nothing for 8 days to be told its closed now as viewings are booked up. The company is a joke. If this is how they run things it's a blessing we didn't get a rental with them!

The staff were more than supportive even to the extent of producing printed documents ( as opposed to on line by my agent) for my “ sale” to expedite the transaction for both parties. I had my dads house up for sale with a different company. Had three viewings in 6 months. Decided to try unique. Within weeks it was sold. Unique were amazing everytime I telephoned or had a viewing off which unique did for me. As for selling , the experience was stress free. My dad passed and I managed to buy my own place of which the property I fell for was with unique. Again the process was completely stress free. I cant thank unique enough. An excellent service offered by Dominica and Olivia at Unique. The house was sold less than 2 weeks after going on the market at a price we were happy with, but unfortunately for some inexplicable reason, the purchasers pulled out on the day contracts were due to be exchanged. However, the agents really earned their money as they revisited other previously interested parties and secured another sale within 2 days at the same price. The communication throughout the process has been exceptional and both Dominica and Olivia have kept the sale moving along until we finally completed yesterday. I would not hesitate in recommending Unique at Thornton Cleveleys as they really do deliver on what they promise.
