Hi your wife has previously put a negative review on here 2 months ago so quite disappointed that you felt the need to do this also 2 months later. Here is my response that was written back to you 2 months. Firstly I would like to thank you for taking time in writing this review, as a business we strive to improve and offer the best possible service. However, I feel it is important for me to reflect and respond to your negative review, as it could be potentially damaging to my business and put future clients off using Unique Estate Agency. Your first point about the marketing, I do agree with you fully. We employ a full time professional photographer who has a university degree in photography and yes her photographs are excellent. Yes, we do put you on Rightmove, Zoopla, On the Market and numerous other portals in order to give you maximum exposure; some agents only put you on a select and limited number of portals. In relation to your point about the viewings, we always try to accommodate and accompany the viewings as much as possible, however If somebody is keen to look and we cannot accommodate we always check with our vendors if they are able to do the viewings. We have notes where we have checked with you and the notes reported say “vendor is more than happy to conduct the viewing”. If somebody buys another property, before they get to look at yours, it is out of our control, if a buyer genuinely was interested in your house then they would be happy to wait. With regards to your point about hearing very little from ourselves once we had agreed your sale, we have numerous dates and times where updates have been given to you; our “notes on our system” are documented and verify this. In relation to getting more updates from your solicitor, this is what you pay your solicitor to do, naturally we update you as much as we can and we get our updates from the solicitors. Again the point about not hearing anything until completion is completely untrue, we have documented dates and times of communication with yourselves; if you would like, I can certainly provide the exact times and dates. I am not going to apologise for selling your home for very close to your asking price, I am disappointed that you felt the need to write a negative review, refuse to pay our bill for nearly a month after completion; something that has never happened before. If you were so unhappy, would it not have been prudent to have discussed this during the process of your sale, and not bring these points to our attention nearly a month after. You had already moved out of your house when we were chasing our payment for selling your home (something that we should not have to do), at this point there was nothing I could have done about it; you had ample chance to inform me or the Sales Manager about being upset with the apparent lack of contact. Again, thank you for your review and we do wish you well in your new home.
