Awful Estate Agents. Viewed a property with them, the mortgage advisor got lost with all our information, proceeded to request the same information over & over. He then got flustered with it, and decided to pass all the information over to another mortgage broker based at another branch (who has been helpful) Put an offer in of £65,000 on one of their repossessions, never heard back. Then saw that an offer was put on the same property online for '£63,000' (lower then ours) We lost another sale of a house, because it took them that long to pull their finger out, we lost a sale on a second house with another company. We since emailed advising, we hadn't heard back regarding our offer - No response. It then took Simon, to enquire internally to get a response from them!!! We then rang today, to view another property we had noticed on the same Street as one we just viewed. We saw a lady from Farrell Heyworth, asked politely asked if she was the agent doing viewings on the property (a property we would have probably gone a head and put an offer in on) got a rude response of 'No' - she was completely unprofessional, rude and unhelpful - believe her name was Bev or something a long those lines. I understand for security reasons they may possibly need to be booked in via the office but a little more of a helpful response would have been appreciated. Rang the office while she was still inside the property, to ask if they had any slots available as we'd come from out the area. Someone called Sam, who was quite helpful actually, advised someone from their office was actually there at the moment - and If i advised her that i'd spoken to Sam she should be happy to show me round quite quickly. Shouting 'Excuse me' as she was coming out of the property - she completely ignored us. I am sorry but she 100% heard us and decided to be blatantly ignorant. I am now finding myself purposely avoiding properties advertised by this Agent. If i was the owner of one of these houses and found this to be how interested viewers were being treated, i'd be taking my property of them straight away. The one star is for Sam being helpful on the phone, and Simon at a completely different branch taking over the mortgage case and being on the ball with it. (Thanks Sam & Simon) Otherwise 0 Stars would have been sufficient.

I walked into Farrell Heyworth Highfield Road as a first time buyer with a deposit and an idea of what kind of house I wanted. I had no idea about the intricacies of house buying and all the things I would need. Debbie and the team at the front desks were amazing. They helped me find suggestions, emailing and calling me with new ones on the market and being amazingly helpful when showing us around. Eventually the perfect house was found and our bid was accepted but the help didn't stop there. Firstly, Chris in the back office helped me to find an amazing mortgage deal and insurance to keep my family safe and secure. Secondly all the team were always quick to answer all the panicked phone calls and emails that I sent as a first time buyer to guide me through every step of the way from finding the house to getting the keys. Then they had follow up care making sure we were settling in alright! They are all kind, patient, utterly professional and dedicated to helping you. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Nick Gregson the mortgage adviser. and all the staff team were fantastic. We have just bought a corporate property, and having to complete within 4 weeks was extremely scary, but the team pulled it off for us. Nick secured the mortgage within days and had the funds ready to draw down with plenty of time to spare. He made sure I was offered the best deal available, and took on board everything I asked for. The staff worked extremely hard to ensure the sale went through smoothly, they were always professional and courteous every time we phoned. They allowed us to have 3 viewing on the property to ensure no damaged had been done. I can not thank Nick and the staff team at Farrell Heyworth enough for all their help. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our son has decided to fly the nest (with a bit of encouragement). We have been helping him house hunt. Found a few he liked and wanted to view. But we needed to know mortgage would be manageable as he is buying on his own. Popped into a few estate agents. The lady we spoke to at Farrell Heyworth (Christine) was not only friendly and approachable (my son was finding it a bit daunting) but extremely knowledgable. She put Phil at ease immediately and gave him some invaluable advice. She also booked us in with their independent mortgage advisor (Chris) who was a mine of information. Once we knew how much he could borrow Christine sorted viewings accordingly. She showed us around a few and his heart went out to one specifically. He put in an offer and the rest is history. The communication has been amazing. Instant replies to text messages and always someone there at the end of the phone. Plus we love the fact you can just walk into the office at anytime. You can park almost outside too which is a bonus. Kept in the loop from the start. For us communication is always key and it has really been top notch. You rarely get this kind of service nowadays. Of the three agents who first came to my house to talk about the sale, The Manager, Simon, was, by far, the most professional, informative and helpful person. I always thought all agents are the same and went in to selling my house with the idea that as long as its online then it will sell. (How wrong I was). I decided to instruct a budget agent with a few offices across the fylde coast, 4 months later I had only had 2 viewings so I decided to change agents. That's when I had my first encounter with Wayne and his team at Farrell Heyworth and the difference in passion, energy and knowledge was night and day to my previous agent. After visiting my property I decided to instruct Farrell Heyworth to sell my property, Wayne explained to me how pro active they were and all the marketing tools at their disposal, as impressed as I was I never expected them to agree a sale less than a week later. From day one Wayne and his team hit the phones and booked me 5 viewings and from that I accepted an offer of my asking price. Today I have exchanged contracts and I can't thank them enough.
