GoogleI literally cannot praise the team at Roots enough!! From the very first phone call they have been brilliant! Even when issues at the bottom of the chain arised Craig was literally all over it!! Team of absolute superstars!!

GoogleI can not recommend Roots Estate Agency enough. We had a tricky 18th century leasehold flat to sell in Thatcham town centre. Although beautiful it was an acquired taste! Ashley sold it within 1 day and 1 viewing and for the price we wanted! Ashley and Conor were communicative, helpful and went above and beyond to get this sale over the line without too many complications. GoogleI cannot thank Craig enough! He is friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. We sold our 2 bedroom house with Roots. The process was very seamless, jargon free and very reasonable. He is great at communicating and proactive in chasing things along to help you move as quickly as possible. I would definitely use Roots again.

GoogleCraig and Ashley and the rest of the team were AWESOME. We started the moving process back in Oct 2017 - Sold on day one/full asking price. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control they pulled out. Craig was super - cool, calm and collected. Sale#2 - Went on the second day of viewings! The following couple of months - and a chain of six later, we finally moved to Devon. A life changing move - and without the professionalism, chasing and determination by Craig, and Ash in the last few days went it went pear-shaped before the move, it wouldn't have happened. A lot of things can (and in our case absolutely did) go wrong in a chain - all you can ask for is you have honest and competent agents on your side who can navigate through the mess. Thank you guys - you got us to Devon!!

Professional, approachable and friendly Craig and Ashley were a delight to interact with and were a massive help when trying to purchase a new property. They have a great team behind them who have the same values and provide great service with every interaction. GoogleMyself and my partner have just purchased our first property through Roots and they have been amazing from start to finish. Conor was always available to arrange viewings of the property and nothing seemed too much trouble. Craig replied to any queries and questions straight away and was very encouraging throughout the whole process. Being first time buyers we did not know what to expect but Roots made it so simple and exciting for us. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to use Roots again. Thank you guys!

GoogleWe sold via another well reputed Estate Agency in Newbury, the house we bought was being sold via Roots. Craig showed us round, zero pressure & pleasant viewing. We offered and won. We had some problems with our sale, and the chain was at risk of collapsing because of this. Craig was absolutely instrumental in ensuring the chain didn't collapse, and on the last deadline day to get things sorted it was done, with no help from my own Estate Agents. I wish I could have paid Craig our selling fee and not the 'big' Newbury one. We shall always use Roots and have told all friends & family in the area to use them too, the service and communication from Craig deserves all recognition. A great, knowledgeable, & honest local estate agent.

Ashley was amazingly helpful in assisting us with our recent house purchase, no problem or query was too small and he was able to give us some fantastic advice and recommendations. We didn't feel pressured at any point either by rushing us though a viewing or pushing us to make an offer (which we have had from other agents). We were in a horrible situation having to sell my grandparents home following their deaths, but Craig made the process so much easier for us. He was fantastic from start to finish - totally upfront and honest, always on hand when we had questions or queries and just genuinely wanted to help us as much as he possibly could. The house sold very quickly and Craig was on hand every step of the way. I cannot recommend Craig and the Roots Team enough. Whether you’re buying or selling, these are the people you need. FacebookFaultless service from Roots!... having recently sold our house through Roots, the whole process felt effortless from the initial valuation through to completion... Craig kept us regularly updated and I never had to chase for an update once!. The whole team are extremely knowledgeable and very well respected in the area, taking on several roles in support of the sale, even acting as a courier and picking up our dishes that we accidentally left in the dish washer! - would recommend in an instant! FacebookCraig and Ashley were amazing. I'll tell you why..... We compared the company to lots of the others and felt from the outset that we weren't being given the usual "chat" that estate agents do. They listened to what we wanted and our own personal circumstances and wants. They followed through on everything they said and sold our house in 4 days at full asking price. Above and beyond comparing my experience of other agents. Couldn't ask for better. And then.... found our next house and it's amazing. Again, they knew what we were looking for and didn't bog us down visiting houses that weren't going to be right. The house sale was as smooth as it could be. Highly unstressful!! Communication was excellent. Can't recommend them enough. Proof is in the amount of roots signs you now see around the town. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

GoogleAbsolutely fantastic service from Craig and the team at Roots. He went above and beyond to make our move happen. The solicitors at the bottom of the chain were dragging their feet awfully with little to no communication as to what was happening. Craig chased up all involved on a daily basis to expedite the move. We were only buying through Roots, but they did more than any other estate agency in the chain. Helpful, polite, friendly, accommodating and not slimey/creepy like the majority of estate agents! Nothing was too much trouble. We will absolutely be using them to sell with in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough. 10/10

GoogleWe instructed Craig Butcher at Roots Estate Agency to sell our house in July 2016 - it sold to a fully validated buyer within one week. Craig was brilliant - we were extremely happy with the level of personal service, attention to detail and efficiency. We were so happy to have sold our house to people who will be equally look after in a property we loved! We would use them again if we had not emigrated overseas! Thoroughly recommend.

GoogleAshley from Roots managed to sell my house with the first viewing! From the beginning Ashley represented what an Estate Agent should be - Polite, honest and trustworthy. Ashley dedicated his own personal time to ensure my house was put on the market as quickly as possible (due to my own personal circumstances, it was important to try and sell quickly!). Ashley kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and would proactively make suggestions (even at 10pm on a Sunday via email!). Craig was also there if Ashley wasn't around and also clearly knew the details of the sale. This goes to show Ashley and Craig work very well as a team and ensures that their clients don't go without because one of them is away. I honestly think Craig and Ashley are going to be strong contenders in the market very soon - it's impressive how quickly they have grown and how professional and thorough they are after not even a year in business. I would recommend Roots without hesitation. I am now going through a purchase with an online estate agent and it is a horrendous experience so far.... does not come close to the experience I had with Roots! Would happily use them again if they ever expand to the area I move to

Craig made our experience enjoyable and we would never have got to exchange today without all Craig's efforts. However busy Craig is he always has time to help and get you any updates you may need. GoogleWhen we decided to sell our house there was no other choice but to go with Roots, the service we have received from them has been amazing. Craig made it so easy by organising an open day and viewings over a weekend as he understood it was hard for us to keep the house tidy with three young children! He was always available to answer questions or concerns. We were dreading the prospect of selling our house as we had heard nightmare stories, but this experience has been an uncomplicated and enjoyable one. We will definitely be going to them when we start looking for our next permanent home. Highly recommend Roots if you are looking to buy or sell your home. Thank you again Craig & Ashley.
