GoogleCraig has done an stellar job in selling our home and managing the relationship between the solicitors in the chain. Our home was posted online one Tuesday and we had a buyer secured on Saturday of the same week! There were few issues during the conveyancing process but Craig made sure that these issues won't affect the sale. I could not recommend Craig and roots estate agency to anyone looking for a quick sale of their property!

GoogleRoots sold us our new home 2 weeks ago. They were brilliant. Kept us informed, went over and above their own jobs and got the sale through in reasonably quick time. The bottle of bubbly was a nice touch in completion. We don't plan to move again but we wouldn't hesitate to use Roots again if we should change our mind. Thanks you Craig, Anita and crew x

Roots have been absolutely outstanding to us throughout the whole process, from an initial purchase falling through to matching us with the lovely sellers of a superb new house. We are first time buyers, and unlike other estate agents who really push and try take advantage of inexperienced buyers, Roots have behaved exemplary throughout all of our interactions and dealings with them, acting with the utmost professionalism and integrity. In particular I want to call out Ash who has been a real treat to correspond with. Our purchase is finally close to completion, and I know this is in no small part thanks to Ash and his team at Roots for all their hard work throughout the process. Thank you so much, Ash and Roots Thatcham team!

GoogleI bought a property that was marketed by Roots and have to say they are fantastic agents who treat you incredibly well even though I was the buyer. From the first conversation they make you feel valued as a prospective buyer and they treat you like a client regardless. Additionally after the sale is agreed they are helpful and responsive to all questions and have great empathy for how stressful the process can be and totally understand where they can help things progress quickly. GoogleAs buyers we thought Roots were absolutely brilliant and I don’t think most buyers ever expect to say that about the estate agent. Ashley was very helpful, provided some excellent advice on local surveyors and recommendations for local solicitors when we had a conflict of interest arise. He kept us in the loop the whole time and responded to extra requests and questions almost immediately, nothing ever seemed to be a bother. If and when we come to sell we will definitely call Roots. GoogleI used Roots to sell my house in Newbury. Highly recommended company, the service was excellent and very professional, whilst remaining very down to earth and approachable. Ash is very knowledgeable about the whole process, and always on hand to assist with all aspects of the sale, which made my entire move incredibly easy. They were easy to contact, always returned calls immediately on the very odd occasion there was no answer. They also pulled out all the stops to find me another buyer in less than 24 hours when mine pulled out during the process which could have jeopardised the whole chain... To be honest, they restored my faith in estate agents, and some other companies we came across whilst viewing properties should look to them as an example! Thank you Roots, keep up the good work!

Craig did a great job showing us round multiple properties (he said he would find us a property and he did!), advising us on how to proceed and we never felt pressured, which you can with certain estate agents. Ashley initially answered our hundreds of first-time buyer stupid questions and took us all the way through the process to near completion where Conor took over. Both went above and beyond to make the stressful event of buying a house easier and even helped chase up solicitors on our behalf to speed up the moving process. They were able to organise getting the house on the market really quickly and went the extra mile when challenges arose with a buyer.
