GoogleI am unpleased with the service given and failure to refund a holding deposit, not only this however Chloe was very unprofessional about the property we were viewing as she had no clue about the property or the contract, Sam on the other hand had a tendency to change my words over phone call and had poor communication with his client and giving misleading information towards the tenants. There behaviour was as poor as my experience with this company

Initial sales pitch was promising, which lead us to believe that Connells would be competent and trustworthy. What lay ahead was Rude arrogant staff who lied too us , no apologies or recognition of responsibility and sarcasm on phone calls.

GoogleOur experience with Connells as first time buyers has been great! Jake has done an amazing job at explaining everything clearly and thoroughly and answered all of our questions quickly, making sure we understand whats happening with our mortgage as we progressed through the sale. Jake (aswell as other staff members that we have spoken to) has been super friendly and approachable which made me and my partner feel at ease in what is a very daunting process. We both want to say thank you very much and we would absolutely use Connells again in the future!:)

Connells warndon villages worcester, all over you to sell, we sold and our buyers buyer pulled out, no one told us, lost our onward purchase (which i found out through another estate agent) resold which we were only aware of when my buyer turned up to tell us as we needed to find a house! re brought and throughout the whole experience did not hear off them once! My buyers estate agent did all the chasing (Hills worcester-amazing)

We were asked to quote them for some windows in the NG2 area of Nottingham, we agreed a price, I informed them that we needed a contract signing and a deposit paying, I was asked to send the paperwork to a totally different email address, it was a maintenance companies email, we then received a call from a finance company asking if they could buy the windows directly from our suppliers, this immediately rang alarm bells, so I informed them that we would no longer carry on with the work, we then received a 1-star review on here, awful to deal with, phone calls to my mobile at 9pm, constantly messaging on whattsapp, I genuinely believe that we have had a lucky escape.

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration with the service I received from Connells during my recent remortgage process. This was my first ever remortgage, and from the very first call I made it clear to the advisor that I had no prior experience and needed clear guidance, step by step. He assured me he would explain everything properly but unfortunately, that never happened.

Had a survey conducted from James Edmundson. I mean, what can I say... he was quick, efficient and friendly. It was immaculately clear that he knows his trade and knows full well what hes doing. Knows the area impeccably and promised a quick turnaround on delivery. Connells... youve got a keeper.

Very poor experience with Connells. I was quoted a clear fee to find new tenants which was supposed to include references, Right to Rent checks and the tenancy agreement. Instead, I received a statement with lots of extra and duplicated charges.

GoogleOMG! how patient Martin has been through our time of looking and trying to find out forever home, i think we are becoming part of the Connells family - we’ve nearly won so many times and got pipped to the post, poor Martin and Savanna have listened to me upset and then getting so excited when my offer got accepted by another estate agent “best and finale” (AH) only to be shopping and get a call saying someone had gone over my accepted offer how is this even fair! So i was yet again crying down the phone! Hopefully this weekend will be a good result for us and i can deliver a big thank you to Martin and the Connells Andover A team xx Bev Campbell and Paul Campbell

GoogleJake has been superb from our first meeting back in August 2020. Obtaining out initial agreement in principle with no fuss, allowing us to start seriously looking for a home. When our plan changed he reacted instantly, remaining in contact throughout and adjusting the AIP to meet our new requirements. Once we found what we were looking for he processed our mortgage application, followed up with the provider, and kept us in the loop. A real pleasure to work with. Connells is a terrible agency that only cares about you until the contract is signed. After being exemplary tenants for over 2 years, we have received zero support or flexibility. Despite the standard practice in the UK, they refused any 'rolling contract' options, forcing us into rigid fixed terms.

GoogleWe are hoping to move at some point this year (2024) as it took nearly half of 2023 to get where we are. It's not looking hopeful. It's taken us 5 months to get nowhere in a chain free move, our vendor is going to pull out. We're not even angry anymore, just let down. The real problem is not Connells, but the conveyancing solicitor they have wrapped our buyers up with (Conveyancing Direct) who are unwilling to complete tasks within their remit. We are unable to fathom why.

Very poor. Connells knew very little about the house we were purchasing, and when we asked questions said they would find out and didn’t. It is extremely difficult to get hold of them on the phone, which caused issues with surveyor and contractors visiting the house for survey and quotes. Email communication was intermittent.

From the start my experience has been terrible with 32 weeks contract High Fee's do not enter or commit yourself into any long contract.you then have to lower the price they don't lower the fee.you are still left after this period with no sale.
