GoogleOverall my experience with Hills was good. I had one bad experience when viewing a property, where the estate agent was rude. I also find that when viewing properties with Hills, the estate agents do not show you around the property. They leave you to look around yourself, I found this unhelpful as i am a first time buyer and I would have appreciated it if the estate agent showed me around and gave me some more information about the property. In conclusion I would use Hills in the future if I ever had a need as they are very efficient when it comes to booking in viewings.

GoogleMy first experience was poor due to lack of communication concerning an offer on a terraced house in Salford (Riverside) which turned out to be a waste of time as no information was given throughout the whole process and I had to chase you many times to find out if had been sold. I did give you another chance and I found the experience better than the first time around although I still felt the viewings and guidance given were not satisfactory compared with other agencies. I found most of the other agencies booking viewings separately and including a walk-through of the house rather than mass-viewings without any explanation. You're agents did not know anything about any of the houses I've viewed. I always had to wait for information which should have already been gathered before listing the property and I must say most of the time I didn't get the information back as either the house was sold or you didn't ask the vendor. I've decided to award you three stars due to Wendy sending me the latest properties and booking viewings in no time which was really helpful. I've ended up buying a property with another agency mainly because of the better service and guidance they provided. No waste of time with them as they provided guidance in placing a valid offer and they kept me up to date throughout the whole process. My only advice is to provide a better quality service going forward focusing more on the customers rather than just selling the property. Best of luck

Likewise, We have taken the time to look into and consider the points you have raised; Our agents conducting viewings always carry basic but key property information with them (Leasehold details, age of boiler, council tax band etc.), however you were advised clearly on more than one occasion regarding the first offer you made (Riverside) that we were awaiting answers from the vendor to some of the other questions you asked. In the meantime the vendor chose to accept an alternative offer and you were made aware of that. You did attend a number of 'Block Viewing Events', and on each occasion were made aware that there would also be other people viewing the property due to its popularity. (Everybody gets a fair opportunity to see the property on the same day, under the same circumstances.) It is testament to the service the Hills Residential team provides that all of the properties you viewed with us are currently 'Sold Subject to Contract'. We are proud of our high standard of customer service and feel this is reflected in our numerous other reviews, awards, and ratings. We apologise sincerely if you feel the service you received wasn't to your satisfaction, but would also ask you to consider if your 3-star review is entirely fair and accurate. GoogleHills have an excellent relationship with Both their buyers and sellers alike. Evident in how our property sold the very same day it went on the market, to an existing buyer already on the books and looking for a house in the area. During the COVID lockdown, Hills were able to value and market the property extremely well and very safely and kept me fully informed throughout the process. I wholeheartedly recommend Hills at Swinton.

GoogleIm a landlord that chose, fully managed with them about 6 months. Still chasing them to do the first quartley check. I had to inform them, my tenant hadn't paid their rent for two whole months. Has only ever called me back once, even though every phone calls end with a promise to get back in touch. Awful customer service all around and wouldn't recommend.

Hills Residential Swinton is a sales office, and is 100% separate from the lettings team based in the Salford office.
