GooglePhoned twice and spoke to 2 different members of staff. Trying to book a viewing for a property, was told on both occasions that somebody will ring me back. That was a week ago and still waiting!!

GoogleI attempted to buy a house through hills throughout most of 2022 and I can honestly say that the customer service was 2nd to none. No amount of viewings was too much, they were on the ball with responses and they always answered the phone. Taylor and the guys were aways accommodating. I think they even make collecting your keys a special moment too with champagne etc. Compare this with Bridgfords, who I eventually bought through, who dont even answer the phone and hate the idea of further viewings. The only issue I have with Hills, and the reason for 3 stars, is that when I first viewed the house there was another for sale on Wellington Road, Swinton. When discussing this with the estate agent she said "between you and me it's got structural damage, stick with this". This made me feel very uneasy as I was already worried that estate agents don't disclose everything they know about a property. Low and behold the house I was buying through Hills fell through as a structural survey revealed structural damage that had been covered up by the owner. I don't know if Hills knew about this but after the previous comments I genuinely wouldn't be surprised. Like I said though, Hills lead the market in Salford for Customer Service.

Secondly, I would like to apologise for the comments that were made by one of our ex - team members. However, I'm confident that they really did mean well in being honest with you about a property that they knew did have problems. It is therefore a little contradictory to note the honesty about the first property, while feeling that information was withheld about the other. Unfortunately it was just genuine bad luck that the second property also turned out to have structural issues that we weren't aware of. GoogleDisappointing and unprofessional. We recently had an offer accepted to purchase a home through Hills, to keep things simple we agreed to market our home with them to keep the whole process in sync. The company director photographed our home himself using an iphone with the pictures coming out like a child had taken them. Whilst an agent is supposed to send you the photos and description to approve this didn't happen and it was posted directly onto rightmove etc. The team were particularly unresponsive to calls on the account that "they are very busy" . Due to the poor service after a few weeks we stated our intention to switch agent. The Director informed us that by doing so, he would restart the process of viewings and inviting offers at the property we had agreed to purchase. I was flabbergasted at how childish and unprofessional this threat was and had no hesitation listing with an alternative agent, who sold our property within two weeks. Hills did make good on their threat and sold the property to an alternate buyer, whilst this is disappointing, I wouldn't wish to conduct a purchase with such an unscrupulous company. Moral of the story....If your selling a house in Salford / Swinton / Monton... use Keenans NOT Hills, their approach and service levels are poles apart.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Hi Liam, It certainly seems that your interpretation of the events differs from ours. Two sets of photos were taken of your property (one using the digital SLR, the other using a phone in order to share with the sales team & upload them directly to our social media accounts). We were also not made aware of any shortfalls in communication with yourselves during the time your property was marketed with us, however we can only apologise if that was the case. With regards to the property that you wished to purchase, you were made aware that as you had not yet accepted an offer on your own property, and were also withdrawing it from the market that the vendors would likely wish to remarket their own property in the hope to secure a buyer who was in a position to proceed at that time, which they subsequently did. GoogleI am currently looking to buy a property and would recommend everybody avoid Hills Residential as I had an awful experience with them. We found a property that we liked and put in an offer - only for the offer to be rejected for no reason and the estate agent stating I had been in contact with the seller via text. This is a complete fabrication. I have not met the seller and do not have any of their contact information. I have no idea why they would just make a story up to get out of selling to me. I do not know if it's the agency lying and causing the seller a potential lost sale, or if it's the seller themselves (although they should not know who I am when the offer was put in). What is obvious is that for one reason or another, someone doesn't want me buying this property and they don't want to give the real reason why. I did get back in touch with them to find out more information and to see if there had been a mistake, but they just did nothing and it seems like they've also unsubscribed me from their mailing list hoping I just go away. Anyway, if you want to be lied to and have your time wasted - go with Hills Residential. If you want to buy a house and get decent customer service - go elsewhere.

You were simply asked if you had made contact with the vendor directly, as the vendor specifically told us that you had, even naming you. I discussed this with you at length, and also explained that the vendor has since removed the property from the market after deciding not to sell. I also explained that we would be more than happy to assist you in finding an alternative property. We have not lied to you, not caused the vendor to lose a sale, not obstructed you buying a property, or removed you from our mail list.
