Where to start! The brilliant team at Richard James were fantastic from the start from the front facing team to back office. Excellent communication every step of the way, friendly, purposeful and helpful - we felt fully supported from the offset. It was sometimes rather stressful with buyers and the market but Nick and Fredy were always consistently hard working. Absolutely recommend Richard James to any sellers. Testament too, working during the pandemic which bought other challenges. We are truly grateful and can move on to our next adventure! Huge thanks to an amazing, dedicated team, Vicki and Steve

What can we say...outstanding, first class agency and totally recommended! Richard James offer a highly professional, personable, informed and trustworthy service, for what, can be a highly stressful process. Ross and the team are utterly brilliant. At all times prepared to support us through the stages of downsizing, from personalised introduction to the sale of our much loved home, guiding us on our quest for our new house, staying with us through the various viewings, ups and downs, hopes and possibilities, a time which included moving into rentdown at lockdown and looking for a new home through an world wide pandemic! Selling a flat in the cladding crisis naturally had its challenges and the level of communication and support was great. We purchased a flat through Richard James and we have to say that Julia Barrow’s in their Sales Progressing team was absolutely amazing and we can’t fault the work she done for us. We were kept in the loop at every step of the process with regular emails and update calls, queries were responded to almost instantly and nothing was ever too much of a problem. Thank you Julia for making the process run more smoothly and an altogether less stressful experience. We also want to thank Georgina who took us on viewings, again very pleasant and we didn’t feel like we were being pushed to hurry along when measuring up. We would definitely recommend Richard James. The whole process has been faultless and even a little follow up call was received from Julia a few days after completion to see how we were settling in, which was a lovely touch.

After a long six months our sale and purchase is finally complete. Everyone who was involved were amazing. Jake was fab, showing us numerous properties and selling ours. A special shout out to Laura Wooley. she has the paitence of a saint. She was working from home but never made excuses. There were so many moments where we thought everything was going to go down the pan but she was always on the end of a phone or email (replying to emails within an hour or two)reassuring me it will be fine. Whatever the issue she was there giving advice or solving the problem. We couldn't of done it without her.

We’ve just sold and purchased through Richard James, for our mum, and our main contacts were Gareth and Laura. Gareth was really helpful and showed us around the property on his day off and negotiated hard to get an offer accepted. He met us at the property on numerous occasions, at short notice, so we could meet various contractors there. Gareth advised us to put mums apartment up for sale which was sold very quickly. Laura was our sales progressor and she was very friendly and informative and gave a weekly update on our sale and purchase through the whole process. Our purchase took a long time and Laura was always chasing Solicitors and and answering our queries. She worked hard in getting us to completion and even managed to agree a delayed completion date on our sale which gave us time to do a speedy renovation on our purchase. Thank you Gareth and Laura, we would definitely recommend Richard James.

I purchased a home in Old Town, Swindon through Richard James, their service all round has been fantastic really. Very prompt replying to any queries and putting my offer across to the vendor in the initial stages of buying, thanks to Kelly Hucker (I believe?). Then once sale was agreed, a dedicated after sales/sale progressor was assigned to task and kept me up to date with matters (Jade Wilkes) who was polite professional and enthusiastic. Nice to liaise with someone who is genuinely pleased to help and see things go well. Thank you very much indeed, if I need to sell at some point then I will certainly look to sell via RJ in future.

Thoroughly recommend Avril, so friendly and professional. Knew lots about the area , was thoughtful enough to bring a local map for us. Didn't rush the viewing, we far exceeded the usual 15min slot usually afforded. Was more than happy to repeat the house tour several times (!) and offer solutions to potential accommodation /storage issues. Rang back immediately afterwards with answers to questions raised. Felt she was genuinely interested in helping us and although we didn't proceed with the property she still invited us to call in and say hi afterwards! Brilliant customer care.

I recently moved out of a rented property and worked with Gee Mossom to help out with getting back my deposit. She was really amazing with working with me and the landlord to getting my deposit back and even explained to me how much I should look to get back which was really helpful as this was my first time moving and I didn’t really know how much to expect back.
